this was a big upgrade from my old fridge. it is very big inside and I have no problem fitting everything I need in there. some people commented that there was not enough space for tall items but I haven't had an issue with that. I took off one star because sometime I can hear the fridge whirring. it isn't all the time or very loud, but enough that I noticed it. I also took off a star because the ice maker that is the only one that works with this model is not available and I was not informed of that until the fridge was delivered. had I know that, I would have ordered from elsewhere. I still don't have the ice maker over a month later...

It is a good frig so far. Had it for about 6 weeks now. The drawers are kind of wimpy. It would be good to have another glass shelf and another door shelf. My Kill-A-Watt is showing $62/year which is pretty good for a frig this size.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by SGB Satisfied Amana Fridge and Home Depot Customer
Living in a rural area and shopping for a new fridge via the internet on Monday resulted in delivery of a very nice, well priced Amana fridge on Thursday by Home Depot, including free shipping and for a minimal charge, removal of our old fridge. Thanks Amana and Home Depot.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Sz153 This is just what I was looking for!
I was skeptical about a large appliance purchase online but it went fairly smooth. Cannot say enough good things about the delivery team. They were fast, efficient, knowledgeable and very polite! The Amana bottom freezer refrigerator is great! Extremely quiet, easy to access and very glad I purchased it!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Romina Great for a tall person like me
I purchased Amana because I already have a dishwasher by the same brand and I loved, not only the price, but the quality. The upside down fridge (as I like to call it) is great for my height. I never liked the side by side fridges because I could never put large items in them. This style of fridge lets me place substantial containers or trays without having to worry how it's going to fit. But the most significant thing about it is that I don't have to bend over killing my back looking for items and there is less chance of forgetting food shoved in the back of the fridge. The style plus the price of this brand make me love my fridge! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Really nice fridge. This is the Amana version of the 22.1 CU. FT. Whirlpool. This is a great option if you don't want the factory installed icemaker that comes on the Whirlpool and don't want holes in your freezer after you remove the icemaker. But you can buy the optional icemaker if you want it. The front is smooth painted stainless with metal handles. Very stylish. White appliances are definitely in again.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Ken Spacious and functions well, with one minor annoyance
This was a replacement refrigerator as part of an upcoming Kitchen remodel, and also because the unit that was in service was showing it's age. The interior is spacious; in fact we haven't been able to fill 1/2 of it yet in the few weeks we've had the unit. Still good to have that extra space when having house guests over to store food/drinks. The shelf space is great too. Much quieter than our other unit (which wasn't loud, which should give you an idea of how quiet this unit is). The only drawback is when you close either the refrigerator door or the sliding freezer door and try to reopen it again within a matter of seconds, the door gasket suction is strong causing the entire refrigerator to roll forward a bit. You have to wait about ten seconds before it equalizes and the door opens freely. Still for those considering going with the freezer on the bottom, this is a good choice to consider.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Betty Bottom Freezer Dismay
We have only had this unit a few weeks and have no mechanical issues to report, but, the basket dividers in the freezer are extremely difficult to adjust. There were no instructions included with the purchase on how to move the dividers so we resorted to You Tube, only to find out that the entire basket must be removed from the unit to move the dividers. This, per the video, is not as easy task, since once the freezer is operating the plastic clips are stiff, and I'm afraid they will break, causing more harm then was intended [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
