Five stars for this gas range. It's the first time we purchased a product by Amana. I highly recommend. All I can say is it is wonderful! Do not hesitate to buy.

Home Depot emailed me about a big online appliance sale. Advertised prices too good to resist... until I actually went online and tried to get a stove for the advertised price. Turns out the sales price was $1 below the limit for the advertised free shipping on all appliances and store pick up was not offered. + $79 Then there's an installation fee + $25 and a parts fee + $20. Then to add insult to injury, after an hour online trying to get their web site to work the sale price disappeared two hours early. (Turns out online sales are on East Coast time.) In the end, the $249 stove rang up at $499!!! though that did qualify me for the free delivery. Hah!

Amana customer service couldn't answer this question, so I'll try my luck here. On the oven temperature knob, which dot correlates to which number? There are dots on both sides of each number, say the 350 for example.

The oven was sent and the first thing the installers wouldn't install it because I didn't meet guidelines for an install. I ordered the stove online so no one told me I needed special installation guidelines. I had the company leave the stove and not do the installation. After further inspection of the gas fitting I found that I would be able to install it myself. Then while unpacking the stove I found a 8-10' dent on the side. I immediately called the help number and they offered me a 50.00 gift card as compensation (which I never received yet.) After moving the oven in place I noticed the left rear valve stem was bent. Although it still works the appearance on the off and the temperature settings is slightly off because of the bend, it is annoying I paid that much and found these flaws. I think online sales should not only make sure a customer has the proper installation minimums before delivering a stove for installation. Also I think Home Depot should do quality control on products delivered sight unseen. I paid lots of money for this stove and it should not be bent as it is.

I find this product to be basic but functions well. The burners light every time. The previous gas range I had did not light every time and I found that frustrating. Personally these electronic start ovens aren't all that great but this does not pertain to just your product. Pilot lights on ovens meant it lasted a long, long time.

Horrible stove top. Can't adjust flames. Always at high. Broiler door does not pull out and is extremely hot to the touch. Have to kneel down to put things in and out of broiler. Since it is just a door and drawer that pulls out, very easy to burn your hand. If I could rate at lower than one star, I would. What a horrible range.
