CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 3.1 out of 5 by 8 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by One side keeps turning off After about 2 months - the detachable heater keeps just turning off. If I turn that one off from the controller and wait 5 minutes - I can turn it back on and have them both run again - but the detachable will run for only a minute or so and turn off again. Something is wrong with its own thermostat. I tried blowing that heater out in case there might be dust - but that hasn't helped. Which is another problem with them. They have no dust filters like some other electric heaters I have had. I would have given this heater an excellent all the way - the problem is - it is excellent "only when it works". Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Satified Used it about 20 nights in a portable green house during last Winter with no issues. October 19, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Handyman fixable regarding One side keeps turning off Yes this is an update. I decided to take the one side apart (happened to be the detachable side) and for sure - the unit has a dissimilar metal thematically controlled switch. I carefully bent the anchored (longer) metal piece ever so slightly towards the the other metal piece and it works BEAUTIFULLY again. No way did I want to "weld" or short the thermostat. I take no responsibility for anyone trying this..... but if you are handy... it is very possible to correct. Seems odd they use a mechanical thermostat -susceptible to human handling - on such a great dual heater setup and not some sort of solid state thermostat. I also blew out what dust was in there - but there was not much there. My feet are warm again. Yes I went from 1 Start rating to 5 Star. I said it works great "when it works". Now I found out how to fix the design flaw. I hope this helps someone. February 22, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Had to return because of odor The heater worked fine but emitted a strong ceramic odor that was irritating. It did not burn off. Not sure if this would bother everyone but it made this unusable for me. December 17, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by a good space heater for the price I am satisfied with this space heater. It works fine so far, does what I wanted (keeps my office warm with the central heat turned down). It is a bit noisy but certainly tolerable. January 14, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by So far so good So far so good. Have it by my workbench and it puts out a good amount of heat December 24, 2013

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Worked well...for a while This is a sturdy heater and worked very well for about 4 mos. My husband noticed a noise coming from one heater and took it apart. The fan blade detached from the motor. We can use the other heater. January 24, 2013
