Rated 1.7 out of 5 by 7 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by I placed the batteries into the light and the bulb lit but as soon as I put the cover on, the light went out. I tried replacing the lid a number of ways and none of them were successful. At first I thought it was the fault of the batteries so I purchased a fresh pair. Nope, same problem. It's just a design flaw or I got a lemon. October 25, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by This light is perfect for my closets because they don't have ceiling lights in them. It is bright enough to see what you need in the closet. October 26, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not Recommended If you're looking for a battery-powered light for a closet, don't get this one. First of all, it doesn't give out much light. It's cheaply made, starting with the flimsy pull string. One of the wires came off a battery terminal as I was installing it. I think it was held in place by maybe one drop of solder. Since I didn't have any solder with me, I just stripped the wire back and wrapped it around the battery terminal to get the light to work. Then when you pull the string it's supposed to be on-off-on-off and so on. This one is on-off-off-off-on-off-off-off. In other words, you have to pull the string 3 times to turn on the light, so that cheaply-made part of it doesn't work for me like it's supposed to. Overall, this purchase was a big disappointment. It wasn't worth the trouble to send it back; the shipping cost more than the actual product. The only good thing about this is maybe someone will read this review and not make the same mistake I made in purchasing this product. March 1, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Too Heavy With Batteries Although a good price, in my opinion the design is poor. The batteries are too heavy and lose connection when the light is upright. I had to use tape to keep the batteries in place. January 1, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Do not buy Looks good but too lightweight to use D cell batteries, each of which were heavier than the light. The clips to hold the two batteries were not strong enough to hold them in place. One pull of the string caused the batteries to lose contact and the light would not work. If the light was redesigned to use AA batteries, the light would be fantastic. October 8, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Poorly designed and assembled In a couple words: Cheap, Frustrating. The bulbs are barely held in with thin, cheap brackets. The D batteries add a lot of weight that defies being held with strong double tape. Even the string is cheap! I have button thread that is at least twice as strong. I returned them for refund. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Junk This was a piece of junk. The lighting is very, very poor. I got better results using a common flashlight from the 99 cents store. Also, the adhesive failed. It shattered and no longer usable after only one day use. January 14, 2014
