I purchased a total of 15 American Craftsman 70 windows - some via homedepot.com and some special order through the local store due to special dimensions. They all came in quickly without any damage or issue. The windows are really easy to install - watch a few videos on the internet on installing replacement windows. Don't be afraid to try yourself. Try one, then your confidence will skyrocket and you will do every window in your house.
The windows are excellent and really look nice. Big improvement over the old single pane windows with cracked glazing and oxidized aluminum storm windows. One added bonus is they have really reduced the noise from outside. They are easy to open and clean. I'm sure they will help cut down the drafts during winter and reduce A/C usage during summer.
One very minor note - watch for flashing at the outside corner vinyl welds. Trim if needed so they don't throw off your fit into the old window frame.

I own a home built in 1950. It still had the original single pane windows. I decided to remodel my kitchen, and while remodeling, I thought I would go ahead and replace my windows. I could tell a difference as soon as we set the windows in. You couldn't hear the workers outside. Now that we have had them in a few days, I can say, You can't beat Anderson windows. And I would like to thank Home Depot, they got the windows here when I needed them.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by TH4609 Well made, easily installed window
The window was well packaged and arrived without any defect or damage. The instructions for installation were available on-line which surprised me at first but they were easy to locate and download. I only printed out the pages that were applicable to my project. The window was well made and attractive. Thankfully, the existing window's rough opening was square which made for a simple installation. I added fiberglas insulation around the window, filling the empty spaces completely. Home depot sells this product which helps seal what would otherwise be a big energy loss source. My wife appreciated the fact that I didn't have to use expanding foam insulation which tends to get everywhere! A final bead of caulk on the exterior and painting the wood stops completed the project.

I recently enclosed an open area into an office. Within 2 days it was obvious better air circulation was needed so I decided to install a new window on the wind side of my house where no window existed. I chose a double hung so I could use a window air conditioner and be able to open it for fresh air if needed. Ordered a retrofit version so I wouldn't have to re-plaster-just make sure it was a precise fit. The window arrived and there is no lip at all around the the window making it impossible to install it without loads of work. Home Depot didn't know anything about my window but a call to the 800 line at least got me the info and part number I needed to install it---part has yet to arrive but I can't for the life of me understand why it wasn't part of the window.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Tami Perfect windows for our Cottage
These windows were perfect for our cottage since the screens are 1/2 screens which give us a "clear" view to look out at the lake. They were easily installed. They look great and the price was right!!

Quick and easy install on some nice replacements. These are not $1000 Marvin windows, but they are the perfect fit for a leaky old farmhouse. I got 2 of them done in an hour. They operate nicely and are a great bargain for the quality.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by MIKES Great window and easy to install
Well made and easy install makes the windows a great value. They are good looking, and with new wood interior trim and blinds gives the house a new look.
Went on line to see how to replace 65 year old windows in a cinder block ranch house. Saw some youtube examples and made measurements.Went to Home Depot who helped me select the right window. Came home, disassembled the old window, siliconed the remaining frame and slid the new window in place. It fit perfectly with no shimming. It also looked so nice I decided to replace all the interior trim. So back to Home Depot for whitr primed trim. First window took an hour, with trim 3 hours. Everything went so well and looked so good I did all 7 windows. Last one took an hour , with the trim.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by jzbcnu Reasonably priced replacement windows
I needed to replace two windows and would replace two more of the same size if and when I located them. My local stores did not have any in stock. HD about 20 miles away showed 3 in stock. I ordered them on-line. They actually physically had 4 in stock, so I purchased all 4. New windows were very easy to install. Old windows can be removed from either inside or outside of home. I have done it both ways (on a one story house) and prefer outside removal. The 60 year old windows would probably have required 8 hours each to maximize their looks and function. To remove old and install replacement windows took about 2 hours each. New windows look much better, are easy to open and clean, and are probably much more efficient due to double glazing. 2 of 4 windows were missing a sill plate plastic strip, 1 had a hole in the screen and 1 had badly damaged/seriously bent sash lift bar (that still functions). Other than those issues, I'm satisfied with the windows and expect them to maintain their design specifications for 5-7 years, which is the lifetime - in my opinion - of these types of vinyl windows.
