Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by CWKLLA Great Window for the money!
I was in desperate need of 10 replacement windows for our home. The old windows were replacements from approx 1984 as per one window Co..that came out to give us an estimate. Three contractors later prices to provide and install the 10 windows, each with their own brand, exceeded $9,000 and one as high as 12K.....I decided to take apart and remove the single worst window in our home.....very easy to do. then I researched window brands and based on several factors incld price we decided to go with these. Each one was a custom size but two very well versed employees at our local HD helped to refine each one. They came in on time,....about 3 weeks, and although one had a broken glass they were packed nicely for protection with everything included.....they got another one ordered immediately for rush delivery so no big deal. I've vested a total of about 2.5 hrs into each window's meticulous install....from removal to new window to minor trim and paint. All but 4 of the windows fit like a glove and that's because the wood framing on our home had settled slight so I had to modify each a little to fit. To do this I just took a rasp and removed a bit of the excess vinyl from each as necessary...only added about 20 mins to each install, but they now fit like a glove. The windows have been in since last Sept 2014 and so far so good. Doing the windows on my own with the help of HD was very rewarding and saved me a ton of money. There is a lifetime warranty on the windows but my honest expectation is to get 10 years out of them looking good......considering we put up with the old, broken seal, moisture filled windows for 11 years. I know there are more expensive windows on the market, but for our needs these LoE 3 ARGON filled AC windows were a perfect fit for us and budget. Our home not only looks new but we've increased the value considerably...... I would recommend sitting with your local Rep at the HD and let them work with you on your project, and recommend the AC series 70 windows.
BTW use a top quality white or tinted silicone on the outside when sealing....you will be glad you did!

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Pittsburgh412 Flimsy, Poor Quality, Don't Buy
These windows are a piece of junk. First off they are so flimsy it feels like you could just push your hand right through the glass. Secondly, I am afraid I am going to break the levers to lock the windows every time I use them. The plastic is cheap. Lastly, you can't get the screens out. We almost ripped the one trying to take it out today. I am so disappointed in these windows. I haven't had them through the winter yet so we will see how that goes. If I can't get the screens out for the winter I don't know how they are going to last. Spend the extra money and get better windows. This was a complete fail!

the performance of the window great!Very easy installation, very easy to make slight altercation to existing opening in very old house to make it work, houses were 150 to 100 years old!Very impresively warm glass on inside of house on very very cold days!Would recommend to anyone!Just be caefull when handling on installation cause vynyl can crack easily if twisted, jarred, tighted,or pried with to much extreme, once its in nothing to be concerned about ,very good window holds heat in and cold out excellently!!!

This is my second set of American Craftsman double hung windows. Love the quality and ease of installation. Home Depot shipped on time and the windows were in good condition. Would highly recommend this seller and this product

I am a contractor and I installed over 100 of these windows for customers. I have had to replace/service almost all of these windows within the last 2-3 years. They are NOT GOOD and you get what you pay for! I will not be installing these for customers any more we are giving

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by bears Make sure you have all the pieces upon purchase!
We have now replaced 18 windows in our house. 16 of the 18 installs went well. However, the last two windows we purchased were missing the head expander (or cap) piece upon purchase. We did not know this until the day of the actual install after we had 2 big holes in the side of our house waiting to slip the windows into place. Since Home Depot did not have extra head expander pieces, and after many phone calls and several trips to local stores that specialize in windows, we found a local window installer who had a few extra head expanders laying around that we were able to purchase. My recommendation: Make sure you check the package for all pieces when you get it home so you don't run into this same problem!
