I have 3 72 X 72 plate glass windows. I'm thinking of installing 2 approx 36W X 72H windows in each opening. Is this possible through the 70 series. Do you make these in this custom size? If so, approx how much per window?

Answer:
Yes, that size can be built; however, we sell exclusively through Home Depot. Please visit your local Home Depot store and an associate will quote the series and size, along with your choice of options.

Answer:
The 70 Series Double Hung Buck window is not available with impact resistance glass. Some local codes require tempered glass for windows next to a door. This window can be special ordered with tempered glass

Customer Reviews

Rated 3.0 out of 5 by 2 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by I think this is one of the best products I've used in my kitchen renovation. The first window of two took 3 hours to install, the second only took an hour and a half. Quick learning curve, especially for a home dating 1888. Could not believe the window fit so perfectly. Hoo-Ra American Craftsman. February 11, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Absolute Garbage I'm amazed at the positive reviews..unless you are flipping your house, you're throwing good money after bad by getting these windows. I have all the proof I need with my own "Pepsi Challenge" right in my house. I installed a 70 Series in my kid's bedroom two years ago. My other kid's bedroom window was pretty bad too, and now that I'm re-doing that room, I had a contractor install a window. Two identical rooms, two different windows. The room with the Home Depot window is freezing, the other is toasty warm. Now I have to spend money to have this hunk of junk replaced. Spent 160 on the window, plus all my time, and labor/materials to case the windows will have to be re-done as well. Also bought a special order Silverline for my bedroom, and that's just as bad. Having both replaced, and again, it well effectively cost me double. The difference between a good window and this one is staggering, you would not believe it. Think long and hard before you buy this junk for your home. March 19, 2015
