Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Easy and subtle Installation was easy, however the mounting fins are thick and the corner seams where they were joined pushed the trim out resulting in somewhat large caulk joints. The windows themselves are easy to use and exceed my expectations. February 25, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by specs on website are wrong. went to Homedepot to purchase window, and was told that the online price is cheaper for same size window and with better U-factor of .29 than what is currently carried instock at the store. so I placed the online order and waited 2 weeks. when the window arrived and was tightly pack and proteced in wood frames/cardboards/styrofoam...after tearing apart the packaging, I noticed the stickers on the window is not what is advertise on the webiste, U-factor read .34 along with other specs that did not matched webiste. quality of build also questionable, as there were pieces of tape and caulking, etc sticking out from seams and corners. I returned it to the store and exchanged for what is instock. October 7, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by stuck in the middle Looks are very basic, great price. Quality of framing is very cheap, gaps between side rails and top/bottom. We ordered 2 widths 24" & 36". The 24's seem to handle the Wisconsin winters' the 36's are terrible, leak like crazy where the pains meet in the middle. I don't know if this is a problem craftsmanship or just the nature of a vinyl window. Would recommend the product for a smaller window' nothing much wider than the 24". April 5, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great value for the money and easy to install When I moved into my house I was looking at $500 a month energy bills in the peak of summer. A new energy efficient air conditioner brought it down to $300 and then two years ago, thirteen of these windows brought it down to $150 a month. My old bronze aluminum windows were original to the house in 1985 and had been repaired at least once. I could tell by the black tar-like substance running down between the panes. My wife and I watched several You Tube videos on how to replace windows and we were hooked. We shopped around and then bought all 13 custom sizes at Home Depot. Two weeks later they were ready and we installed the first window the next weekend. We took a few months but could install a window easily in a couple hours. We would have been done faster but an upstairs dormer needed some new siding, trim and paint with the new window, plus I had to screw up the courage to crawl up there to do the work. We had about $2500 in the job compared to a few quotes from contractors starting at $6000. Installation might have been cheaper but I didn't hold back on the insulation and clear silicone around each window frame. First thing we noticed was how much better our house looked and it was much quieter. May 29, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Get what you pay for I am a contractor who has installed hundreds of windows. The quality of these windows are ok. No where near an Anderson or Pella but that is reflected in the price. I put a few of these in a garage and have had no issues. June 28, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by What a buy I almost didn't order these because of some of the negative reviews. I don't agree with them as these windows seem to be excellent for the price. I was going buy them locally where I could look at them first, but they seem to be sold online only. They were packed individually in strong wood cases and so far, all have been in excellent shape. We are installing these windows as replacement windows on a house that had aluminum storms as the only window ever installed. I have installed 3 of the 10 windows so far and they go in easily and look good. I caution that the sizes listed online are not the size you will receive. A 32 by 52 window will be 31 3/8 by 51 1/4 as is listed right on the window with the flanges reaching to 35 by 55. Our rough openings were almost too large, but the wide flanges allowed us to use the openings as they were. We are definitely happy with these windows. March 12, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Solid window, excellent price I am an Architect and a home builder and found this window to be exactly what I was looking for for the installation. It is very easy to install and clean looking. It comes with a screen and will hold up very nicely. It was in perfect condition when I picked it up from the store and installed very, very easily. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent window! We have installed 9 of these windows in our 1950's home. They are easy to install, look nice, and have had absolutely no leaks in any of the windows! These windows have been in our home for 4 winters now and we have had no issues with them being drafty and they still look as good as the day we put them in. Excellent quality for the price! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to purchase windows. September 30, 2014
