Product Overview

All-Surface rug pad gripper provides a firm foundation feel underfoot, while protecting your flooring and rug investment. A low profile, thinner construction than the Premium All-Surface rug pad gripper, this pad allows the rug to lay flatter to the floor, while allowing doors to open with ease. This reversible rug pad gripper was designed for use on all indoor floor surfaces such as tile, hardwood, laminates, linoleum, concrete, or on rug-to-carpet applications. It will help keep your area rug in place to avoid slipping or tripping of moving rugs, and make vacuuming easier. It's the ideal product to smooth out grout lines, and furniture indentions. Purchase yours today.

Answer:
Buy it to be a little bigger and cut it to size so the pad is 1 inch smaller on all sides than the carpet, this way the carpet edge lays flat on the floor.

Answer:
The rug pad size should be slightly smaller than the size of the area rug. Trim the rug pad with a sharp scissor or razor knife, enough to allow the area rug to lay flat to the floor on the edges of the rug. This “border allowance” will vary upon the thickness of the area rug. General rule of thumb is trimming the rug pad to a size 1” less on area rugs 4’x6’ & smaller, and 2” less on area rug sizes 5’x8’ Read More

Answer:
Yes, our rug pads work well on laminate flooring of any manufacturer. You would install the pad with the scratchy fiber side up, and the rubber backed side down under your area rug.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great purchase! ALL-SURFACE THIN PROFILE 5 FT. X 8 FT. FIBER AND RUBBER BACKED NON-SLIP RUG PAD under my HD area rug. Works great; lots of cushion and does not slip. August 2, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by excellent holding I was looking for a thin padding to anchor my braided rug on my laminate floor under my kitchen table Fit great , so far working well August 23, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice pad I like the thin profile of this pad & it is easy to cut. August 16, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by All-Surface Thin Profile 5 ft. x 8 ft. Fiber and Rubber Backed Non-Slip Rug Pad We purchased two units of this products, and have no problems with the products. July 26, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works great Have had this a couple weeks now and we are very happy with it. Stays put on our laminate floor - even while vacuuming the rug. Rated average for appearance because it's not attractive, but you never see it so what does it matter :-). I like that it's a bit thicker; adds cushioning. We used kitchen shears to cut it to size, due the thickness but it wasn't too difficult to cut. July 17, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works great Very easy to put onto a hardwood floor. Stays in place and holds the rug in place. Was not too sure about it when I placed the order as I have never used a gripper pad before. A little longer than the rug I ordered but it can be cut if you wish to do that. May 31, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by slippage The mat dos not keep the rug from slipping a little. It may be that the rug is not heavy enough. The rug is light and moves easily. May 10, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Low Profile works well with my front door. This all surface rug pad does exactly what it's suppose to do, keeps my rug in place on my hardwood floor. The low profile works well with my front door. I was debating on getting the thicker one and I'm glad I didn't because I wouldn't be able to open my front door. My entry rug now stays in place when my cats are chasing each other around the house. I had to cut a couple of inches off of it, but that wasn't a big deal. Just use a good sharp pair of scissors.
