Customer Reviews

Builder Line 4 in. 2-Handle Low-Arc Bathroom Faucet in Chrome-DISCONTINUED is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 19.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good-looking Budget-priced Easy Installation Extremely quick and easy installation. I purchased and installed 2 units. One held a sinkful of water all day. The other dropped down to half a sink after about 2 hours, but that's ok considering that any washing/soaking tasks would generally be finished within that time frame. Hubby commented that it's "cheap in quality". He has a habit of tapping things, and yes, the handles of this set are hollow inside, but it does look nice, and the price is right. My only concern would be in regards to cleaning the drain. The pop-up cannot be removed. In the event that the drain gets clogged with hair, etc, there is no way to snake it from the top.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wow! I bought a replacement faucet from a competitor and it leaked like a sieve. I bought this product from my local Home Depot. I am ABSOLUTELY AMAZED at how easy it was to install this faucet and drain set. It literally took me 5-7 minutes to have the complete set installed and working. DIY simply doesn't describe this experience. Stevie Wonder could have done this job using this product. I will ALWAYS be an American Standard customer!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bathroom Faucet I bought this several months ago to replace the original faucet in my bathroom sink. It looks very impressive and the price is right. It was easy to install and works fine. Cleans easily and no scratches or spots. Very happy with the style and quality.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Ceramic disc valves trouble - resolved I like this faucet but I had a weird problem with the Ceramic disc valves that I finally solved. Once in a while the hot water would not completely shut off. If you open and closed the valve rapidly it would stop. This only happened on the hot water side, never the cold. I had a old hot water heater and when I replaced it, the problem went away. The calcium build up was sending very small particles out with the water, noting you could notice or feel but the small ceramic disc valves would not complete close until you worked it through the valve. I really like the faucet and would buy it again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from More Plastic! Would NOT recommend! It has HOLLOW, PLASTIC handles! Are you kidding me? Faucets are supposed to last for many, many years. Now companies keep making more plastic stuff, but this has gone to far! Seriously, if I wanted to, I could break the handle off with my bare hand just by leaning on it. And, I'm sure that chrome paint on plastic finish won't last long. NOTE: The display model is apparently the old design because it has metal handles. I bought two of these, brought them home and was about to install before I realized the handles are plastic. Also, I don't trust the new drain plunger design either. Have you ever had hair in your sink? It would get all wrapped around the plastic gears wouldn't it? I don't know since I never installed them, just a thought. But the PLASTIC??? ARGH!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from easy install I installed this product this past weekend, it took 30 min to install. I was very impressed with the stopper control. It had alway been the worse part of the installation, the stopper linkage with the adjustments. With this kit you lined up the indent in the drainpipe to the cab;e and screwed on the cable/linkage and your ready to go.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great faucet! This was so easy to install and looks great. My first endeavor in plumbing and I didn't break anything! No leaks, easy to follow instructions (especially for a beginner) and I'm not out a crazy amount of $$. I highly recommend this to anyone wanting to update a bathroom quick, easy and inexpensively.
