Answer:
Try rotating the gooseneck clockwise, this should tighten it up. You may have to loosen it from the sink because it will likely not be able to rotate if there is a wall next to the sink.

Answer:
For the 6425F faucet the handle length is 2-7/8", the overall height of the faucet is 12". The base is 10-5/16" X 2". For any additional dimensions go to the American Standard website and type in the model number in the seach box. Then open up the specification sheet to see all available dimensions.

Rated 3.0 out of 5 by 31 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Well, lasted for a year! Yes, it is a great looking faucet. The high neck is indeed a great thing for doing dishes. However, the metal of the neck is very soft. Ours has been dinged by pots and pans a couple of times. Yesterday, Iwould have given the item a 4 star rating...today I got a call at work from my wife. The base of the neck where it swivels has sprung a leek. We're not rough on out items; it's an adult household. I think thereason it's so inexpensive is it is made with inferior materials. Still, there is no guarantee if you pay 2-3 times s much that the faucet would be any better. Our last faucet was Price-Fister and it didn't lastr a lot longer. March 18, 2010
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful and cheap Beautiful but cheaply made! The left handle cracked and the gooseneck has a small hole in it that causes water to leak out from the top of it. May 24, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Leaks and ...... Started leaking after two plus years, after reading reviews I took the handles off each side and noticed the valve nut on the hot water side was almost totally corroded away, same problem as some other reviewers had. Glad it started to leak or I might not have noticed a problem until the whole valve may came out and flooded the kitchen. Looks like bad design with dissimilar metals, not to mention the leaking valve. Replacement costs have me looking at another brand, would have company send me parts but do not have original receipt, also don't want to wait, will get another brand faucet tomorrow. July 10, 2012
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by flooded kitchen This faucet was freshly installed right before we purchased our home in Dec 2009. We have had good luck with it until this morning. After filling a pitcher, and turning the faucet off i noticed the water was still running so i went back to make sure i had not tapped it back on or anything and when i lightly pressed the hot water tap back the entire handle snapped. This caused water to begin gushing from it as if it was a fire hydrant. My husband was able to stop the flow by shutting off the main water supply under the sink. Before this i could have recommended the product, The sprayer attachment broke fairly quickly after moving in. We are an adult household and do not use items roughly. April 4, 2011
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Faucet I purchased this faucet for 3 reasons. First, WASHERLESS valves - no drips. Second, really nice design - simple and clean looking. Wife likes it better than the much more expensive one we replaced. Which leads to the Third reason, Price - can't beat the value. As mentioned in previous review, the instructions are marginal but I'm a guy I don't read those things anyway. Do tighten the sprayer hose prior to clamping down the base. Also make sure the base is facing the correct direction so the handles pull in toward the sink and not back toward the backsplash. December 31, 2009
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not Thrilled I was looking at the cheap cheap faucets, and thought I'd spend a bit more and get a good name brand with tall faucet. Also, it was on sale $5 off. I'm concerned that the hot water barely comes out. Is this an energy efficient feature? Aargh! Then I read the reviews here, and am praying that it doesn't blow apart like several reviews here. A faucet should last 50 years, and shouldn't cost as much as a dishwasher. Argh! It seems this model may be discontinued, for good reason. 2 stars and I'm hoping we can live with the slow hot water. It may go back. September 11, 2012
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by You Get What You Pay For Purchaced the Item in October 09. Installed Easily, but felt a bit light and cheaply made. I was right (cheaply made) Doing dishes last night turned down the volume of hot water and the handle blew off with water gushing out of the spot that handle and valve use to be. Luckily I know where the main water shut off for the house is other wise my hard wood floors could have been ruined. You get what you pay for . Garbage in Garbage out. Don't buy this product. If I hadn't been home whose to say this handle couldn't have blown off while I was out and flooded the house. April 26, 2010
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by FANTASTIC FAUCET Two years ago when I moved in to my newly purchased home, I purchased and installed another brand kitchen faucet. I was less than pleased with it's construction, performance, etc. The other brand finally failed so I settled on this faucet as a replacement. Immediately I was impressed by it's construction and design. Imagine, an American built faucet that's still built out of metal. I installed this faucet last night and it couldn't have installed more easily. I barely need any tools. I'm highly pleased with this purchase. May 25, 2012
