I have the same question! It sounded like it was running but then stopped. I chose to ignore it as this thing has caused me too much grief already. Make sure you use only Scott t.p. or you will have sewer line problems. Also, hold down handle till completely flushed. See my review.

Not normal at all. Your float may be adjusted too high, causing some "refills". More than likely the flush valve is not "seating" properly, thereby leaking just enough to require a few refills per day. If you turn off the water that supply's the commode, flush out all the water from the water closet, then dry the flush valve with towel paper on the sealing surface, then apply a thin coat of Vaseline to Read More

Turn the water back on and allow it to refill. If this works for a few weeks and problem returns, may be time for a new flush valve. Read Less

No. We would suggest dropping a food coloring tablet inside of your tank in order to determine if the flush valve is leaking, or if you are having fill valve related issues. After you drop the tablet inside the tank, we would suggest checking to see if the colored water enters the bowl on it's own when you hear the toilet kick back on by itself. If the colored water does enter the bowl, the flush valve Read More

Answer:
There are access holes one on each side of the bowl base near the floor & centered on the waste-line flange. Those should be installed first before setting the bowl onto the floor flange, then there are the white plastic nuts with the three wings, similar to a wing nut that threads down on the anchor bolts. Insert the nuts thru the round access holes, and tighten them on the bolts.

There are two round holes- one on each side where you screw in the screws. Those holes are then capped with a plastic cap that makes the sides look smooth. You can't see it in the pictures.

The toilet comes with two bolts, you attach them to the bowl ring support (which is screwed into the floor), threads pointing upward, and set the toilet onto them. You can access them to attach the nut through the two holes in the base of the toilet.

Answer:
Tank not insulated....If you lay a sheet of white typing paper on the water closet lid or the commode lid, I would call it an off-white leaning towards the "creamy/vanilla white". If the color is critical, I would advise you to go to the store, go to their paint department, and get some color strips that match the commode on display, then take that color home to match to your decor

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great look Great looking and working toilet! Has the look of toilets costing twice the price! August 2, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by American Standard Cadet 3 The toilet is heavier than most, so two people are required to get it into the house. Installation was fairly quick and so far we love how it functions. The seat had been reported to be flimsy, but this one is not so I think they have replaced the old one. July 19, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works great! I've had the toilet now for nine months. I was hesitant to buy a flush toilet. I know low flush toilets in the past had a problem of flushing things down. Well not this one! It works better than my old high flush capacity toilet. The first time I used it and thought "this isn't going down without a fight", like my old one, it was gone in one flush. I'm not saying that it never clogs, but it happens much less often than my old one. Also if you give the handle just a quick tap it will using even less water. If you hold it down for second it will use entire flushing capacity. I also like the extra height of the toilet. The one thing that I'm not crazy about is the toilet seat. If you're thin it kind of squeezes you into the toilet seat and keeps your legs together too. Not bad enough to make me go buy a new toilet seat but it does feel like you're being squeezed in a little. I would highly recommend this toilet! June 28, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by A litte taller than most American Standard. If its food enough for Al Bundy its good enough for me. Great tolet June 29, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Flash Flush! It's so nice to have a toilet that flushes EVERYTHING one time so quickly. Love the modern look of the smooth sleek sides. June 14, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by OK but small Everything was excellent except the fact that it is a small bowl and if you do not pay attention to the measurement(like me),you think you are comparing several brands to the same dimension, and nothing said smaller bowl.It deserve the name "cadet". CHECK THE DIMENSION OF THE BOWL. May 31, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by I would buy it again. I chose to purchase this particular toilet because it appeared to be much easier to clean and without getting down on all fours to do so. I liked the idea of saving water and was impressed with the video showing the 1.28 gallon flushing capabilities. I also wanted the Comfort Level feature and the soft close toilet seat. Overall, I am pleased with this product. The plumber did comment that it was the most difficult toilet installation that he ever experienced. May 10, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by I'm lovin it!!! All the reviews I reviewed before I bought and installed this toilet, were exactly what they said they were! With my Son's help, I had the out with the old and in with the new in about an hour. I followed the instructions, and the end result was NO RUNS......NO DRIPS....NO ERRORS!! I have another one sitting in the garage waiting to be installed once we start our masterbath remodel. October 6, 2015
