The toilet is definitely not white, not as shown in the picture. It's not available in-store and had to buy it online without looking. While it looks good and is fairly easy to install, a second person will help as it's heavy. A crucial part (retainer on one of the t-bolts) was missing. Had to run to the store and waste almost 2 hours looking for the replacement part. The seat moves a little. The seat cover closes softly and looks nice. After spending thousands of dollars remodeling the whole bathroom, I wish the toilet looked great too. I can't comment on other aspects such as flush strength, water usage as I haven't used it yet. I wouldn't recommend this toilet.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by pdmccomish Nice toilet for a small space
We were use to a low to the ground toilet, but with extra comfortable seat , fit any tuss! But we are getting older and needed a higher ADA toilet. Not wanting to spend a lot of money, on a tight budget. we chose the Cadet. Good toilet, great flushing action. Good purchase, but if you want a more comfortable toilet, this has a very tiny seat width and diameter. It is functional, and I dont have to worry about my hurting my knees anymore, but for my husband who use to do crossword puzzles and read, it is just not comfortable. But for the money, a good buy. To replace the toilet we had would have cost close to 1000 dollars. Seniors on a budget cannot afford that. This is good for the price.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Buckeyedreams Best seat in the house?
We just finished a down-to-studs rebuild of 1960 bathroom. The new one is spare and clean and the design of the toilet fits in perfectly. The smooth, clean base is great, easy to clean too. Hasn't gotten much use yet, as the rest of the house is not quite ready for habitation, but the workers and I have been impressed with the effectiveness of the flush with so little water.
Plumbers didn't mention anything about the installation, so I gave that average.

Love how this toilet looks. Almost exactly what I was looking for. Slim design yet gives you enough room for a basket on top of toilet. Though the main pros is the concealed trapway. Love it! Yes the seat is a bit flimsy but I can live with it for now, it can be changed. Will need to read up the trick to remove the seat without uninstalling it but once installed the first time, it's easy. You will need a longer water supply if your toilet was shorter like mine. My old one was 9" but I had a 12" on hand. Couple of things though. It feels like it rocks a little when we get off the toilet seat but it could just need some tightening. The main cons is that the toilet is not bright white. If I had to guess it's more than off white but a very light gray tint. I was expecting pure bright white to match my sink just like my old toilet. It also flushes well, no skid marks. Not too noisy but I don't mind the sound of the flush.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Bogeysmom A little disappointed
They should have a maybe choice for recommendation. I was looking forward to having an American Standard toilet based on reviews and the commercial. My old Glacier Bay model did not always "get the job done" and I liked the features of this toilet (coating to help keep the bowl clean, everything goes down, etc.) I have found that the toilet does flush quickly, everything goes down, but the toilet bowl itself does not seem to benefit from the added coating and does not live up to the "that's clean" tag line in the commercial. I realize that is for a different model, but this one does advertise on the packaging that the bowl gets clean. I often find that I have to flush the toilet a second time to get the bowl clean of "debris" that may decide to cling. I do not know if this is because the toilet flushes so fast or what, but this irritates me and is the biggest source of my rating and disappointment. The toilet looks good and is comfortable once you get used to the sensations of kind of rocking back (not sure how else to describe it). I do like the slow close lid and seat, but not sure if it is really necessary, unless you have kids that regularly slam the seat down. It does flush somewhat loud, but not intolerably so. Overall, it is ok, but I would not buy it again, but it will due for now because my vinyl plank flooring has been installed around it.

The toilet is heavier than most, so two people are required to get it into the house. Installation was fairly quick and so far we love how it functions. The seat had been reported to be flimsy, but this one is not so I think they have replaced the old one.

I've had the toilet now for nine months. I was hesitant to buy a flush toilet. I know low flush toilets in the past had a problem of flushing things down. Well not this one! It works better than my old high flush capacity toilet. The first time I used it and thought "this isn't going down without a fight", like my old one, it was gone in one flush. I'm not saying that it never clogs, but it happens much less often than my old one. Also if you give the handle just a quick tap it will using even less water. If you hold it down for second it will use entire flushing capacity. I also like the extra height of the toilet. The one thing that I'm not crazy about is the toilet seat. If you're thin it kind of squeezes you into the toilet seat and keeps your legs together too. Not bad enough to make me go buy a new toilet seat but it does feel like you're being squeezed in a little.
I would highly recommend this toilet!
