I am replacing my toilets during remodeling of the baths and dread the new 1.28 gal requirement. I bought this model hoping it would work well. Straight from the box, this toilet has a flapper leak. Every few hours the valve opens to top off the water level. The handle is shaped pointy so it is hard to flush. The 1.28 gal smaller pond easily causes remains to stick on the side of the bowl requiring additional flushes and/or cleaning. I don't think I'm saving any water. The only good thing so far are no clogs. I wanted matching toilets but I bought a Kohler for the 2nd bath to see if it is any better.

I bought this toilet for my 2nd bathroom. It does not get a lot of use but I wanted something to replace the existing toilet that plugged or clogged after every use. My wife suggested this toilet after seeing videos of it flushing a number of unbelievable things. After installing it in my 2nd bathroom, It has not clogged or plugged. I think it is a great value for the money. It is a little lighter weight than the Vormax or the one in between the two. I forget the name something 4. The salesperson at Home Depot said he had the 4 in his main bathroom and the cadet 3 in his daughters bathroom and they were both great. The 4 is a bit heavier and sturdier. I would recommend this as a toilet for a main or 2ndary bathroom.

This is a great toilet. It's sits higher than our old one and much nicer. Flushes great. My husband installed it without any trouble. I recommend it.

Have now replaced three existing toilets with "Cadet 3". Soft close seat/lid is a quiet blessing with elongated bowl makes for easy cleaning. Trouble free, easy install and economical use of water.
Great product and value.

Toilet flush needs to be stronger. Bowel movement residue remains on the toilet walls after the flush. It takes 5-6 flushes to wash this off.

No issues, the base of the toilet is much smaller then the last one, there was a cut in the tile showing once installed. I picket the toilet back up moved the screws back and set the toilet back down making it closer to the wall with no issue. The toilet rocked back and forth a bit at first, but once I filled it with water and re tightened the screws it was fine! Didn't need to shim it. I like the looks of it. the bowl holds more water so less clean up. the internal holes are bigger I noticed, so much better flush! I like the idea that it says it can flush 12 golf balls, even though I would not flush them! But I am proud of it! HAHA This cadet 3 is smaller then the new ones. it was offered at home depot for $128 and there was only 3 left that are the older models. About an inch lower, which is fine with me, it helps keep your body more aligned. Of course you could always put your feet on books to help with that.

I love the high seat and the flush saver. The fact that the seat and top will slowly return to the sitting position is also nice.

This has to be the best water-conserving toilet I've come across. Great for those who need a few extra inches due to back problems. But what made this purchase fabulous was the service of Miss H. in the service department. Though this was a special order slated for a delivery in 2-3 weeks, she managed to get it delivered to our home in 3 days. Now that's service!!
