All parts are included, including the fill buoy and the flapper valve. The only part you need for installation is the wax ring or equivalent. I used the green toilet waxless gasket seal in place of a wax ring. It is much easier to install, and has been working perfectly. Installed about 1/2-year ago.

Answer:
The range of Gallons Per Flush (gpm) is adjustable but setting the Refill valve to it's highest position to get the largest amount of water (1.59) in each flush and if the Refill valve is set in it's lowest position you should get the lowest amount of water (1.28) in each flush. The adjustment is done on the Refill valve in the tank.

GPF = Gallons Per Flush. So, if the description lists two numbers it is either adjustable within the range or it is a dual-flush (number 1 or number 2). However, the Cadet Flowise that I bought only lists 1.28 GPF on the box.

1.28 gpf equals about 5 quarts of water used with each flush. 1.59 gpf is over a gallon and half of water. More water used for each flush does not necessarily to a better flush. Such factors as closet bend variances (extreme curve vs. gentle curve) and coefficient of friction on the curve surface (rough vs. smooth finish) are more important. So drink plenty of fluids and make roughage a regular part of your diet and you will have saved enough water to fill your swimming pool. Read Less

Answer:
1.28 gallons per flush. Or 1.59 gallons per flush. Some models do have dual flush option. You can push one button for less water or a different button for more water. Or for those without different buttons, you can hold the handle down longer for more water and quicker for less water. But, if it doesn't say "dual flush", I would think it is the flush volume of different models.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by My pick for a toilet or 3 ha ha I followed directions 3X 's why? b/c I bought and installed 3 in my house 2 upstairs and 1 downstairs. Only had them for 3 weeks and they flush very well indeed just like the video I saw. I highly recommend also buying the Green Sani Seal for $12.95 b/c installing this toilet is a breeze you can adjust the toilet many times before locking it down with a old cheap wax seal you have make sure you seat once if it's off or wrong you have to buy and reinstall a new Wax seal, Sani Seal can be adjusted no need to replace it every time. This American Standard Cadet 3 has a adjustment of 1.28-1.6 GPF the adjustment is located in the rubber flapper in the tank you pull off the rubber flapper and turn the cone from 1-10 different notches https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i5dRpOQd6UE I left it at the 1.28GPF default. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love this toilet! This is the third time I have purchased this model toilet, 2 for myself and one for my mother. It has a quiet and efficient flush (do not have to flush twice). Like that the seat that is included is slow close. Also like that the tank width is narrower than our previous toilet, giving us more space in the room. I had no problem installing the toilet myself. Excellent price too. We are remodeling our bathroom for accessibility and this is our first step. October 4, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very happy with this purchase This is the second one of these toilets that we purchased. We were so happy with the first that there was no question we wanted the same exact one when it came time to update another bathroom. My husband had never installed a toilet before but had no trouble whatsoever installing these - and we haven't had any problems with leaking or any other performance issues. These toilets produce a strong flush but use very little water. They're a great value for the money. We couldn't be happier! September 27, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by We just purchased and installed this toilet yesterday. It does weigh in at 90 lbs so best be sure you can handle that weight. I wanted a taller toilet and the elongated feature. Each of these features adds a little bid more to the cost. This stands without seat 16 inches at front rim and 17plus with toilet seat. this is real close to table chair height. he toilet has a nice look. The throat of the drain from the tank to the toilet is 3 inches compared to the 2 inches in older toilets. The tank empties in a flash and the flush is impressively powerful more so than my old 3.5 gal toilet. It is packed well and all the parts listed on the box came with it. The outside of the box says it is a complete toilet and what that means is the tank is plumbed just needing to be hooked up to the water supply. You need to supply the water supply line. The instructions are adequate to do the job and other than a long handled screw driver you do not need any other tools. I liked the plastic nuts holding the base to the floor. large enough that you could tighten the base by hand. The caps attach nicely to these large nuts. If you are doing this for the first time, beware that toilets take a beating while being used but are fragile and easy to crack or break if dropped especially on tile or concrete floors. the tools provided are designed to keep you from over stressing seals and over tightening the floor bolts. One step to take once the old toilet is removed is to place a heavy rag in the throat of the hole in the floor. this will keep you from dropping nuts and bolts and tools down the drain hole. Do not forget to remove the rag when you are ready to set the toilet. You may need to shim the toilet if the floor is uneven. You tube and the internet offers good advise on how to do that. You also need to caulk the base of the toilet. It is necessary to keep the toilet stable from being moved left to right and keep the muck of life from finding its way under the toilet. October 30, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Very Pleased Toilet was very easy to install and saves on water. Like the slow close toilet lid and seat. Would purchase again. Good product for the money. October 11, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect!!! Works perfect!!! Make sure to hold down the handle for at least 2 seconds for the best performance. October 14, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by The perfect toilet I have this toilet in all three bathrooms in my house. It is beautifully designed and good looking. The two piece design makes installation a snap. As a 66 year old, it took me only 45 minutes to install the toilet and that includes removing the old one. Everything you need comes in the box including the toilet seat (don't laugh many toilets don't come with a toilet seat) and wax seal. The toilet works perfectly and internal parts such as flapper are easily obtained. This is the toilet to buy, Homedepot price is competitive. September 16, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by So much better than old model. Very good quality, perfect height for my aging knees, dual flush is very good, and flush force is excellent, very strong. September 27, 2016
