Installed this model because the last one, from 1 year ago, didn't flush right. This one flushes in one big flush. Needed a round seat because of space constraints, and the beige color. Worked out great!

We chose this toilet to replace an existing toilet that regularly had issues. Sinces replacing with the Cadet 3 there has been no plunging and toilet has worked great. The Bone color was a very light cream color. Very satisfied.

Easy install, but for having an a supposedly "easy clean surface", that prevents stains. Without going into too much detail, I've had to clean it more times in the month I've had it installed than I ever had to clean before

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by RD432 Good product but previously installed and returned to store by different buyer
Had to clean the dirty wax ring from the previous installation (the toilet had not been used just returned to the store after it was put back in the box). Had to buy a new wax ring as it was used on the first installation and not replaced.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Mark Bowl does not clean well - leaves residue
I know why they call this the "Everclean" surface. You are "forever" cleaning it. Solid waste residue is a real problem. It never cleans the bowl. I never had this problem with our old 3.5 gallon flusher. There is one feature they don't tell you about that really helps that situation. The water closet holds more that 1.28 gallons of water. So if you continue to hold the handle down while flushing, you can actually create a longer flush that uses more water, and helps to clean the surface. But even with that, you will need to flush multiple times to clean the solid waste residue constantly left behind in the bowl. This model does flush very well, however. No clogs or "floaters".

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Joseph Very pleased with this toilet's performance.
Toilet comes with everything needed to intall except a new supply line (including a soft close seat). Installation was made simple and easy with improvements to the flange bolts and supplied hand turn sockets to install the nuts of the tank to bowl bolts. I love the new nylon nuts to secure the toilet bowl to the flange and the caps fit on without having to shorten the flange bolts.
Toilet flushes very strong and never needs a second flush. This performance combined with a 1.28 gallon flush is going to save me big on my water/sewer bill. The price was $100 more for the bone color than the white, but it was still less then other bone toilets I had priced. It's not easy to find ADA height, bone color and round bowl all in one package.
One hint, attach the new supply line to the tank before you mount the tank on the bowl.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by ssb73q What a great toilet
This toilet was to replace a Kohler 1.2gal toilet that wouldn't flush chipmunk droppings. Installation was very simple even for this 73yr old. It took me 1.5hrs to replace my old toilet with this Cadet 3, installation was textbook. This new toilet works so well that I put a warning on the toilet " Warning, wear a seat belt when using this toilet", It flushes that well. What a great value product, thank you American Standard.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Joe Good purchase
I purchased this for my main bathroom. Very nice and worth the money. I also purchased the glacier bay $88 efficient toilet for the basement bathroom. There is no comparison. Overall the cadet 3 is better. To be expected. Bottom line is you get what you pay for. All is not created equal
