Yes. I am 5'1" and it's taller that I like. My feet can touch the floor, but I prefer a lower seat. Anyone shorter than me probably cannot touch.

An ADA compliant toilet (Right Height) will have a rim height of 16-1/2" which is about 1-1/2" higher than a standard toilet. Depending on your leg length, your feet probably won't rest flat on the floor while seated. Some people experience a level of discomfort when their feet dangle. I'm 5'10 with a 30" inseam, and use a 1-1/2" thick step block for a foot rest.

Answer:
This bowl stands 16.5" from the rim to the floor, this will be pretty high for atoddler because once you add the seat that would add an additional 1.5'-2" in height.

This seal prevents sewer gas from entering your home. Many clogs happen in the trap way. Most toilets are only glazed as far as you can see from the bowl. A glazed surface is very smooth compared to an unfinished ceramic surface - to compare look at the inside and outside of the tank. This enables a higher percentage of clog free flushing with less water. I was an industrial facility/maintenance mgr. for many years. At one of my facilities, we had a frequent clogging issue due to people flushing paper towels, napkins, etc. We replaced the original toilets -over 20- with this model. There were no more clogging issues with this toilet, and our water use dropped significantly. I replaced the toilets in my home with this model and would highly recommend it. Read Less

I'm not sure what the throat diameter is. I can tell you that it is the first one I have ever seen that is this difficult to clog. I have seen it take a rather large amount of solids with no issue at all.

Fits standard toilet flange. The flushing works very efficiently even with a major #2 deposit. It is the best flushing toilet I've ever had. It is as effective as the toilets that have the pressure flush system, but without the annoying loud noise.

Answer:
You won't need a replacement flange unless the original is damaged. A wax seal only cost about $2. If the new toilet comes with one, a replacement is good to have on hand. If you do end up with an extra seal, store it in a cool place or it will melt.

CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 3.8 out of 5 by 40 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Toilet works fine These are good toilets. The reviews that talk about poor flushing and other problems Im sure are not able to simply adjust the fill valves, or adjust the mechanism in the toilet tanks. Its a simple install and a great toilet. I have three of these and they work fine for a family of 4, two girls two boys with lots of use. Water softeners are always a good idea to keep the toilet tank parts from liming up and malfunctioning. Many reviewers blame there toilets for hard water caused malfunctions. I would say these toilets could be more susceptible to hard water issues than cheap standard toilets. March 26, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Flaw in bowl Very easy to install. Strong flush and the dual flush saves water. There was a flaw at the bottom of the bowl that was not obvious until it was filled with water. March 3, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Just don't buy it... I bought three of these on sale roughly one year ago. At first the toilets worked flawlessly, however, after 7 or 8 months of use, the toilets started leaking. This isn't noticeable however, what is noticeable is the fact that the toilet starts to fill up by itself after several hours of no use. Oddly enough, this still uses less water than my previous toilets, however, I believe that things should just work as advertised. Maybe I am just old fashioned in that sense. Don't be fooled by those who write reviews after owning the toilet for just one or two months, it just hasn't happened to them yet. I am working with customer service on a solution however, if I had purchased another brand of toilet, I would not have to deal with this now. Save yourself a headache. October 19, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great toilet, easy install. We bought one of these toilets three years ago for our last house. That one worked great up to the time we sold the house. In our new house, we had two Crane toilets that flowed something like 4-G P M per flush. Lots of water. however they took forever to make up the tank again. We decided that the Cadet was what we wanted again in this house. Bought one two weeks ago, buying another one tomorrow. We haven't had any issues with this model yet. I do know that should the flush valve go out, they are available at our local plumbing supplier. Home depot does not carry this valve for what ever reason. Honestly, they really should. However, we are happy with the little "two speed toilet" . July 17, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love it Good flushing capacity. Not too wide. Simple, timeless design. February 13, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Just OK - single flush 4 Max is a better choice Decided to try the dual flush since the we were so happy with our other American standard and its powerful flush. This one generally flushes ok but not nearly as strong as the "10" rating and doesn't clean the bowl completely all the time. You must also hold down the button for at least 2 seconds or it will partially flush. Wish I would have bought the same model as before. September 12, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Shallow Shape of Bowl Catches Toilet Paper & It Never Goes Down The bowl is not deep enough on the front part and so (if you are female) and you put paper in it, it just sits there and never really touches the water. You have to "hike" the paper (like a football) to the back of the bowl. Even then, it doesn't always work. Every day or so I have to use a toilet brush to scoot the paper down to the water so it will go down. It is a terrible bowl design. The toilet flushes well and has never clogged, but the bowl needs to be deeper in the front. August 28, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Toilet at a Great Price So far I'm really happy with this toilet. First off, this toilet has a much smaller tank than the unit it replaced. That by itself makes the bathroom feel a bit larger. The buttons on top for the flush are nice and simple. Out of the way and fit into the design well. They function with firm feedback. Installing the toilet was easy. It came with everything needed for the install including a wax ring and "tools" to get the job done. The only thing you may need is a longer water supply hose as in my case, the tank sat up a bit higher tan the original. The two flush options work well. My wife and I have had no issues with flushing and getting waste down the drain. Even the 1 gallon option has been working for solids. I guess your millage will vary with that. However, it is nice to think that we'll be saving quite a bit of water. As long as the toilets holds up for the next 10 years, I'll be completely happy with this purchase. August 12, 2015
