Which is longer one piece or two piece toilets

Loking for a compact unit with a high seat that takes less space from wall. Need to pick up at least 8 inches less than current toilet with elongated bowl so we can get a walker clser to commode.
Asked by: Anonymous
As a general rule most one piece toilets are elongated which would be longer.

1. Height from the floor? 2. how many inches off the wall? My bathroom is a very narrow one, it is very critical to know how many inches left?

what is "right hight", used to describe several toilets

Asked by: Anonymous
The term "Right Height" is used to describe taller bowls that are in most cases ADA compliant. The height of these bowls is typically 16-1/2" less the seat.

Customer Reviews

Cadet 3 Right Height Universal Round Front Toilet Bowl Only in White is rated 3.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Quality issues with tank bolt holes I have replaced 3 other toilets in my house, and none had tank bolt problems like this one. The other brands were Toto and Kohler. On the bottom side of the tank of this model where the bolt holes are, the edge around the hole protrudes a little bit. It is as if the bolt holes were made, and then porcelain coating inside the tank dripped down into the hole? I'm speculating since I have no idea how they make these, but the end result is that the edge around that hole is not flat. When I screw in the washer/nut, I hear a crushing sound due to the protruding porcelain. So I stop tightening it... but the washer/nut is not flush with the surface yet... hence it leaks. So the other reviews were right about suggesting they could be leaks around the tank bolts. Can be fixed by sanding the edges of the hole, but the toilet is supposed to work out of the box. If I were not looking for a 10 inch rough-in, which this is one of the few models that supports this, I would not buy this. That said, once I tightened up the bolts despite the cracking sound, the toilet works well.
