After reading the other reviews I was a little hesitant about this faucet. But so far it has met all expectations. The install is a bit tricker than the Peerless it replaced, because the connections are on the mounting posts rather than a center extension. Made it a little tight connecting the supplies. Only complaint is the hose for the spray is a bit stiff, hard to pull out very far. Some commented on noise and it is a bit noisier in the "mix" position, but not objectionable. This seems like a good compromise between the real cheap faucets and those that are twice as expensive. Just note that, if you are replacing a faucet with center water feeds, be sure to get longer supply lines.

Do not buy this unless you want a faucet that drips and hiccups. I should have read the reviews on this site before purchasing. It keeps dripping for about 30 seconds after you turn it off. I tried to adjust the water pressure, but this did not fix it. Even at the proper PSI. This thing is garbage. Ashamed to have a product of this quality with the name America stamped on it. It does look nice, just as nice at the Delta or Moen's.... but, you get what you pay for. I ended up returning it and spending an extra $25 for a Delta, which worked out great.

Within 24 hours of purchase I installed, removed and returned this faucet. After installing it , it dripped and dripped over 1/2 gallon an hour. Per the supplied instructions that identified IN CASE OF LEAKING FAUCET it directed the user to cycle the faucet off to on several times. Well, I cycled it over 400 times with no change. Also I noticed that the faucet will not allow hot water thru the sprayer, only mildly warm. I decided to purchase a Price Phister instead. I have used American Standard before and I will again, just not this time.

I purchased this American Standard faucet to upgrade our kitchen a little. After working under the sink to get it installed, I was very disturbed to find that it made a loud clunking noise every time I turned it on or switched to the sprayer. Sadly I had not read the reviews here before I purchased it and found that this is a problem that has occurred for other customers. There was no way I was going to live with that clunking so I spent more time under the sink taking it out again and returned it to Home Depot.
I switched it for a Delta Classic Faucet which cost about $30 dollars more. The build quality and ease of installation on the Delta was well worth the extra cash.
Home Depot were great on my second trip back when I bought the Delta, I just wish I had sought out assistance when I selected the American Standard.

I bought this faucet 4 years because of the American Standard reputation. Big mistake - the faucet is corroding due to dis-similar metals, and the faucet body is leaking and can't be repaired. I had to invoke the warranty and have them send me a new faucet. I expect the new to suffer the same problems in 4 years. Next time I will buy a Moen.

The faucet sounds like a hammer drill when you turn it on. I call the company. They sent me new parts for my new faucet and it makes more noise now. the spray hose will not stop leaking under the sink and on the spray itself.

Bought a kitchen faucet from them. It have been a piece of junk since I installed it. There warranty is basically useless. They want to send repair parts which I will need to hire someone to install. Probably cost more than the faucet. I think I am going to scrap it and buy another Delta. The last one lasted 40 years

Spent an afternoon removing the old and installing the new with a friend's help. I trusted the brand and liked the look of this unit. Unfortunately, the faucet doesn't turn off while the sprayer is being used. This happened after using the sprayer twice. I recommend buying a Moen or Delta. Stay away from this one.
