You can install this yourself... If all of your other hardware is in good condition it should install without any big problems.

Cadet Single-Handle Kitchen Faucet in Chrome-DISCONTINUED is rated 3.6 out of 5 by 17.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from worse faucet ever bought in my life I bought this faucet one day ago and it is leacking through the neck gasket

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I am disapointed I installed the unit maybe two years ago, It started leaking (a lot) last week around the shaft. I went to Home Depot (where i bought it) to buy a repair kit and found that they do not sell them for that brand faucet (even though they still sell the faucet). Once I opened it up I can understand why they so not sell repair kits, there are no o rings to replace just plastic sleeves. Once they (the sleeves) wear out the unit is shot. I am going back to buy a new faucet, you can be sure it will not be an American Standard brand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple Understated Elegance I chose this faucet because I wanted simplicity. I have found that faucets with vegetable sprayers on the main part that lift off get very dirty where they separate I did not want that. This one is so easy to keep clean and shiny and it works great The Vegable sprayer is mounted next to it and very easy to use and keep clean as well. I am all about clean.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Swivel component very hard to rotate I have owned 14 homes in 38 years of marriage. This one being the most expensive. However this was by far the cheapest made fixtures in any of my homes. I would not recommend American Standard to any of my friends.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Great Faucet Hook up was fast & easy. Faucet has very good pressure and no dripping after shut off.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Continuing Problem I have installed 3 of these over the past year in rental properties, and what I thought was an isolated problem has been seen in the two recent ones installed. When you turn on the faucet, it 'shutters', sputtering out water for the first second or two before delivering a quiet constant stream. Don't waste your money here and move on to another brand.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from lo flow screen The low flow screen was not what I wanted but have adapted ii by another. Would not have purchased it if I had known about the low flow screen. It still seems to lack force as compared to our previous one. There was nothing in the information to indicate it was a low flow faucet.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty sweet for the price. I had to replace a 50+ year old faucet on my kitchen sink. I intend to redo the kitchen, but not yet, so I was looking for an inexpesive faucet to do for now. This looks and feels like a solid faucet, almost like the 50 year old Delta I just replaced. The flow from this was excellent, better than the Delta that I replaced. I was really impressed with this faucet for the price. The only reason it did not get 5 stars is it did not come with a rubber gasket so I had to caulk around the outer edge. Not a big deal, but would have preferred to have the rubber gasket. Other than that, I was really impressed with this faucet. Discaimer: I have only had this installed for a week. So far so good. 5 yrs from now, who knows, but that could go for any faucet you buy.
