Answer:
This handle is designed for a specific model of toilet. The angle of the tank compared to where the handle is means this handle is under a fair amount of stress and usually breaks every couple of years.. I would not recommend getting this unless you have one of the American Standard toilets that requires it.

Answer:
It does Fit most AS toilets. Best rexommendation would be to bring the part to tour local HD and ask their guys to sell you one that will match

Will this fit a Cadet toilet where the tank is angled?

The replacement trip lever we bought at the store required the plastic be bent to the proper angle. Tough to 'bend' plastic without it breaking. Now it scrapes the inside front of the tank when used.

Rated 3.6 out of 5 by 11 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by I was told by American Standard that this was the part # which I needed. It is the wrong part. The part number was given to me by the American Standard company directly. I was told I could order it from Home Depot. It is the wrong part. The flush component crosses the ball lever and makes it very hard to flush. I am upset that I was given the wrong information. and spent over $13 for a part that is incorrect. I will have to pay again to get the correct part, But will not trust that the company will give me the correct part number January 17, 2012
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Cheap, flimsy, breaks easily Toilet handle looks nice and sleek in contemporary bathroom. Actual use of item means frequent repairs. The plastic handle cannot take the force of regular, daily use and cracks quickly under pressure. August 21, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Did the job with no fuss The product was not in store after four trips I went to American Standerd web page, they found the product and told me to order on line at Home Depot which I did. The only think was It took seven days to get here. I have ordered 1 more to have it onhand. February 19, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Easy installation The angle of the toilet handle makes replacing these a regular occurrence. That said, these are pretty easy to install and relatively inexpensive. September 29, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by works as stated WORKS FINE, BUT FEELS KINDA CHEAP. WOULD BUY AGAIN, BUT ONLY IF I COULD NOT LOCATE AT LOCAL HARDWARE STORE. June 11, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Fits perfectly FYI, all of the parts are plastic, which may be good because then it won't rust or corrode. The polished chrome part is plastic too. July 31, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by it works As the summary states, it just works. No training needed to install. If you can ooen your toilet tank and tighten a bolt, you can do this July 9, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by as expected fast ship thanks product as described in literature, did the job and met my expectations. I could not find this in the store, but found it in the catalog. December 6, 2011
