I have a Ceramix shower Valve 2000.50. I can't figure out how to remove and replace the handle. Instead of an allen set screw at the bottom of the handle base, there is a small removable access plug. How do I remove this handle ?

Asked by: Alan9235
You will need to remove the button and inside the hole is the set screw. You will need a 3/32 allenwrench.

I have an 18 year old American Standard shower valve trim I would like to change. I thought it was Ceramix but not sure. I know the the trim surrounding the center is held by two screws at the 12 and 6 o'clock position. The trim itself is round w/lever.

Asked by: builder1
Unfortunately the valve behind the wall would have been made specifically for the trim if that is the location of your screws.

I have a 25 year old Ceramix shower/tub faucet.  With the cartridge installed, the cold water flow is very low, hot is normal.  When I remove the cartridge, both sides appear to flow normally, I've replaced the cartridge, no change, help please!

Asked by: MarkPorter
Are you using the correct cartridge or a universal one? I would suggest contacting out customer care line at 800-442-1902 for assistance.

Ceramix 1-Handle Tub and Shower Faucet Trim Kit in Chrome (Valve Sold Separately) is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from It has been eighteen years using the Ceramix valves and trim in my tub/shower. The cartridge is available at most A/S plumbing supply stores. I have yet to replace the valve. This is and always will be a quality product. It still looks new.
