Answer:
We no longer manufacture vented toilets. The only vent you will have is the vent that leads thru a pipe to your roof.

Does the tank water supply recess into the tank? I bought another American Standard and will have to return it because the water supply is recessed, and I cannot hook up a bidet (t-connector).

Here is an example of a handheld bidet: http://www.homedepot.com/p/Brondell-CleanSpa-Hand-Held-Bidet-in-Silver-CS-30/203357947

Does anyone have issues with slow filling and low water in the bowl?

This question is from Champion 4 1-piece 1.6 GPF Single Flush Elongated Toilet in White - No Seat

Since day one something just doesn't seem right with mine. After everything flushes out, there's barely any water in the bottom of the bowl for several seconds. And by the time the full flush/fill cycle is complete, it's only filled up a little more. Other toilets of mine are filled much, much higher within a few seconds.

Also, if I manually pour water in to try and raise the level, it actually drains out just a little.

The picture below with the seat up is a 'good' filling toilet, the one with the seat down is the one in question.

Customer Reviews

Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 106 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent product. Great flush, reliable every time, and it is easy to clean. This toilet is as advertised. It functions perfectly. The flush is powerful and quick and covers the entire interior of the bowl to keep it clean. It is easy to clean. I really like the one piece construction with the tank and bowl together. It's beautiful, as far as toilets go any way. Installation was easy compared to having to connect a tank to the bowl. It is a monster though; it must weigh 100 lbs or something. Initial quality sure seems good. I've only had the product for a couple of months though so time will tell for sure. On the down side, I did pay $345 for a toilet which is pretty high. Bottom Line: I would highly highly recommend this toilet. January 25, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great height for shorter kids Easy installation. I did have to replace the flush valve seal. Water dripped from the top of the valve non stop. After replacing the seal all work as it should. The wife did complain about the water level being low in the bowl. However, the water level is likely just right for guys when in the thinking position. September 6, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by am. std. toilet Very satisfied with unit except price I thought was very high considering the other champion 4 units were $198. January 19, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Zero Clogs 1st Six Months The best thing about this toilet is its flushing power. A one piece toilet is heavier to install than a two-piece. If you are installing it yourself it helps to have a helper for proper alignment. Don't forget to remove the rag from the pipe! We got the version that is shorter than 'comfort' height. It seems that all toilets are taller than the ones they used to install. December 30, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Champion 4 1-piece toilet We ordered 2 of these for a new home. They arrived on time, however there was a hairline crack in one, which the plumber didn't notice until it was installed. Brought it back to Home Depot and ordered another one. Their customer service was very easy to work with and we had a replacement in a decent timeframe. No complaints! The toilet itself is easy to clean and flushes as advertised. Attractive enough, as far as toilets go. May 6, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Great Design, Manufacturing Issues Purchased toilet based on previous reviews. Home depot contractor installed, but found toilet leaking through flush mechanism. Customer service sent a flush seal kit which didn't fix the problem. Second try, they sent a full flush system replacement. It also leaked, but the cause was a couple of ceramic defects notches that prevented the seal from working. Caullked the notches and whole thing works well. Disappointed that their quality control did not pickup the defects and that the assembly line installer for the flush mechanism installed the mechanics probably knowing it would leak with those ceramic defects. Company has a good product, it needs to work on quality control. March 4, 2011
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Sticky Flush Lever Honestly, I would rate this toilet a 5 out of 5 if it weren't for the cheap flush lever. That's my only criticism. The toilet is beautiful and the flushing mechanism is flawless. I mean, you can't get any better than a Champion 4. Such a great value for what you're paying. My only issue was that the flush lever stuck to the point of me having to manually flip the lever up so the toilet would stop running. I ended up having to use the lever off my old toilet until I could replace it with a new one. I probabIy would have bought a customized flush lever anyway. I still highly recommend this toilet to anyone. September 22, 2010
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent! We bought this toilet because I wanted a one piece toilet to eliminate the step of having to place the tank on during assembly. This was a fine choice. This toilet flushes without clogging up. It is awesome! We no longer have a nasty plunger hanging out by the toilet. One reviewer mentioned having poo stick to the bowl and not flushing cleanly. We have not had that issue. The only drawback I could see is if you are not a very strong lady or are a slighter build man you may have trouble setting this toilet as it is very heavy, over 100lbs. It is likely much heavier than the toilet you are taking out so do not misjudge thinking that since you can wrestle the old one out you can put this one in. July 11, 2012
