Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Rick American Standard Champion 4 Toilet in Bone Color
Installed like any ordinary toilet, two bolts and a wax seal. Replaced my 1972 Kohler with this one. It uses the same 1972 technology, but with different flow pattern and a huge dump valve. Works way better than the Kohler!

I have purchased these toilets for 3 properties so far.... one of the best with almost no issues or problems... the one piece design is really good looking but my installers are not fond of them because they are one piece and heavy... but the end result works for me...

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Bearpaw08 I should have trusted the reviews.
Beautiful toilet but usually needs two flushes to complete the job. Very disappointed. The champion it replaced (master bath upgrade required a different color toilet) worked without any double flushes.l I would not recommend it.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Greg Best Toilet Ever! No problems, works great!
I researched the internet for customer, plumber and industry reviews for a residential toilet with an excellent reputation for not clogging. This particular American Standard model is the one with the largest diameter flush valve and trap way for fast, most effective flushing. One piece construction, advanced siphon design and high water level in the bowl are other worthwhile design features. Some shoppers are concerned with the style, others want silent operation, conservationists want to use the least amount of water per flush, but I learned the hard way that the most important detail is how well the toilet works. I recommend this model for home use.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wolfpack72 Excelent flushing action!
Flushing action far exceeded our thirty year old toilets at one third the water usage. Toilet was very solid and had a very smooth finish. Very easy to install. Extra height was a lot more comfortable than I expected.

We had a plumber install the toilet for $140. We found out it would flush but the tank would not refill. The mechanism was broken. We contacted American Standard and it took them over a week to send the new part. (If that had been the only toilet in the house there would have been a problem.)
It was disappointing because this toilet wasn't cheap and my husband had to install the new part before it would work..

Due to the fact I am handicapped, I hand both toilets installed professionally by a licensed contractor. The toilets were delivered un-marked even though the packaging was damaged. The added height makes it a pleasure to sit on since I have scoliosis of the spine. They clean themselves, so you no longer have to have a brush nearby. The wider throat makes stopping up a toilet a thing of the past. My credit card was back charged the excess amount when the toilets went on sale 2 days after they were installed. It was a savings of q164 dollars. Kudos to HOME DEPOT. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS TOILET & HOME DEPOT!
