Installed another Champion 4. Really like the first one. It flushes good and uses very little water. Here in the country we pump our water to the house then pump it again thru the sewer system. Wife and I will use 20 gallons each everyday. Or about 5 gallons a flush on the old toilets. So 40 gallons down the crapper everyday. The Champion saves us around 800 gallons per month. That's a big deal, worth the cost. I was old school, believing you needed a big water tank and a 5-8 gallon flush. American Standard has the low volume flush down pat. It flushes way better than my swirling 5 gallon crappers. The plungers are now removed from the bathrooms. I personally have not had a clog with the Champion. It eats anything. Setting up the Champion is quick and easy. I have done two and not a problem on either. The everclean surface is noticeably better with our hard water too. I am 6’1” 34” inseam and the hight is fine.
Buying thru the Depot was painless and easy. Love they take PayPal.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by serialrenovator Great flushing system
We bought a Champion 4 for our master bath and like it so much we replaced all the other toilets in our house with Champion 4 right-height. Our other bathrooms were a little more traditional than the master, so we went with the two-piece. We are pleased with our choice, but there is an odd design feature we did not notice in the photo of this two-piece online. The tank does not sit flat on top of the base. There is an indention in the bottom of the tank and I'm not sure what function it performs. I wish it were not like that, but the other features of the toilet and overall look are great.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Stan American Standard Champion 4
American Standard Champion 4 is, by far, the best toilet installed in my residence in 45 years. The power of the flushing action exceeds any comparably priced Koehler product I've used as does the quality of the porcelain finish. The fixture is truly self cleaning as advertised. Lastly, following a in depth web search, we found that Home Depot offered the Champion 4 at the most competitive price. Delivery was rapid and hassle free.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by BRRRRRRR Best ever clog free toilet
I bought the Champion 4 about 6 years ago for our 1st house we purchased and never once had a problem with it clogging, I know have a new home without the Champion 4 or pro and I have had to once again buy plungers to keep the toilets clog free. From all the toilets I have used over the years this is by far the best toilet I have come across.

Great seat height and the bowl stays clean, but just about every time this toilet flushes it locks the 4" flush valve into the up position. If you're into taking off the tank lid and pushing it down manually, you've got yourself a 5-star toilet.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Dushan41 Does the job
We purchased ours in August 2007. When we first got it, we noticed the flush was quite powerful. It made a louder noise than our old Kohler which had a very weak flush. But with usage, the noise level went down. Also, the power of the flush has subsided, but not to the point where it doesn't do the job. We are very pleased with the Champion 4, and should we replace another one of our weak toilets, we'll get another one of these American Standard models.

I've owned this toilet for three plus years, and it's magic. If you ever get to see the bathroom on the starship Enterprise, it has this stool installed. No matter what humanoid species you are, just hit the handle once, and ENERGIZE ---it's gone!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by HappyFlusher I love this toilet
Gosh I never thought I would see the day that I would get excited about a toilet but I am. I love how efficient this thing is. You know how you go to a friends house and after flushing their fancy new toilet, you see your toilet paper is still stuck at the front of the bowl? Never an issue with this one. Everything goes down, every time...yep, I'm in love with my toilet...weird but true. A little more expensive that what I wanted but so worth it that I am replacing two other toilets in my house with this same model.
