Customer Reviews

Champion 4 Right Height Elongated Toilet Bowl Only Less Seat in Bone is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 15.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Toilet ever My dad used to clog his 1990's low flow Kohler on a daily basis. My mom got fed up and told me to get a new toilet immediately. I was going to get a Kohler Class 5 because that's what I was getting for an addition/renovation project but Home Depot had a rating chart that indicated this was a better toilet so I tried it. The tank and bowl are packaged together in the store. I picked one up and a friend installed it the next day. He said it was very easy to work with. My dad has dementia and can't talk. When he sat on this the first time he smiled and nodded, then leaned back and closed his eyes as if to say 'ah yes' and took a snooze. It was his way of saying it was very comfortable. It took 6 months before he clogged the Champion4 and they didn't even need the plunger. They just had to flush about 3 times. It has a powerful bowl cleaning flush that rinses the entire bowl the first time you flush. First there's a powerful 'burp' to dislodge everything followed by a forceful swish around the entire bowl. I got 4 Kohler toilets with the Class 5 flush a short time later and they don't come close to the flushing and cleaning power of the Champion4.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from We just built a large home doing much of the work ourselves. We have 4 toilets (3 different kinds). This one was the most reasonably priced and is superior in function. It is very quite, uses little water and is easy to clean. Had we purchased this one first they would all be American Standard.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not Always a Champion On one hand, this works, it flushes and you can throw away the plunger. However we have three and they all have had qualty problems. Two came in so that they are not level because they are unevenly made. All have had to have a seal replaced within two years. The seal is not generally available locally but we got some from American Standard for free. One had flushing problems because the valve did lift until I readjusted the chain which has also failed. To summarize, if you do not mind some quality problems, this flushes anything, it also saves water when the seals work.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice toilet, but wrong one for the tank we have The wrong toilet was order for the tank we have. Now we have a tank and a toilet that can't work together. The toilet takes a large water gallon, while the tank we have takes a less waster. But we worked it all out. We still have a toilet and tank, but they don't go together.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It is a Champion This is a great toilet, uses less water than the old ones, flushes well with only one flush and the extra height is great especially if like me ,you are getting older. Much easier on the back and legs. We liked this model so much that when we needed a toilet for a second bath remodel we bought another.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't order This is a nice toilet bowl but unfortunately you must by the tank separately and Home Depot does not sell the tank. What good is a bowl without a tank I ask?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great flush Great quality, and ease of putting in . Handle though is sharp on edge. Otherwise it is tricky to put on tank ,, but with patience the 2 plastic and metal fasteners go on with much patience. Besides those negatives a great toilet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A really great Champion I bought the two piece Champion 4 July of 2008... it installs easily .... I have never ever in almost a year had to flush more than once for anything that went into that commode... there is none of the "noise" that I have read about with other owners of this unit. I bought it when it went on sale for less than 200 dollars.. and I watch the ads regularly.. if it goes on sale again, I'll be first in line for another one for the second bathroom. Terrific item... just perfect.
