Answer:
There are only two types of seats generally sold. One is oval shaped -elongated which is longer form the back of the bolts and the back of the seat to the front of the seat. The other is round which is shorter in length from the bolts to the front of the seat. i hope that helps!

Answer:
Toilet seat size is measured from the center of the mounting holes/screws to the outer front rim of the bowl, basically the area that the seat needs to cover.

Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 77 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent product Good quality easy to install would recommend to a friend July 5, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Really comfortable! I can't tell what is exactly different from other toilet seats, but I think it's the shape of the back that makes such a difference. June 24, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Sent incomplete Purchased the Am Standard Champion slow close seat online and the package arrived hardly sealed. Naturally, one of the parts was missing (a finishing cap that snaps over the bolt). I will never, ever order from Home Depot again as the purpose of ordering online is defeated when I have to go to a local store and return the item. Very unsatisfied May 15, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Soft Close Toilet Seat Save your money, homeowners, install this yourself. This is very easy to install. Instructions actually not needed. Use your eyes; use the tools and parts provided, and within 10 to 15 minutes it's installed. April 17, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Right choice, right price! This is a high quality replacement seat. Much more sturdy that the seat that came with our American Standard toilet. Super easy to install. The slow-close feature eliminates noise and prevents eventual damage over time from dropped seat covers. Would purchase again. February 25, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by repeat customer I got another Champion to replace a Cadet 3 seat. I owned the Champion seat on another toilet in the house for a few months. I prefer the flat seat over the curve of the Cadet 3. The lid on the Champion is also flatter/slimmer and less intrusive if you lean back. I also like how easily you can remove the entire seat when cleaning the toilet. Install was super easy, probably 2 mins. tops. Slow close feature is a must for my household and it performs as it should. December 29, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by After less then a week the top lid slams shut. Nothing slow about it. After less then a week of use the top lid slams down. Nothing slow about it. January 5, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by IT'S A GUY THING! I'm pretty sure I'm not alone in nagging my husband to put the toilet seat and lid down. And I'm equally sure he isn't the only man in town who forgets to do so. So my hope in choosing this slow close toilet seat was that it might help toward what we both wanted -- no more nagging! Firstly, I couldn't believe how easy this toilet seat was to install. I quickly removed our old toilet seat, threaded the provided plastic bolts and nuts through the holes in the commode and tightened them with a screwdriver. Then all I had to do was set the new seat's flanges on the bolts and twist the top cover to secure the seat to the bolts. A very nice, and somewhat unexpected feature of this Champion toilet seat is how the seat itself is contoured. It sounds ridiculous to say it, but this is a truly COMFORTABLE seat! And the best thing is that all I have to do is untwist the top covers on the flanges to remove the seat for easy cleaning underneath. But no, that's not really the very best thing. The very BEST thing about this toilet seat is that all my husband has to do is lightly tap the seat and lid and it closes by itself. He likes the technology and I like the closed lid!
