CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 76 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Terrific! Just as others may have mentioned or thought, "am I really reviewing a toilet seat?". In this case I felt compelled. This is a great seat all around. Easy to install and remove for cleaning; slow close feature is very handy, just flick it forward an inch or two and walk away (both seat and lid work this way, singular or tandem), and finally the color match (bone in my case) is exact. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by You will always want "Slow Close" Toilet Seats After You Own One No more banging and slamming of the seat, just a tiny downward push and it closes by itself. My grandkids are so impressed, the seats are never left open anymore. We finally replaced the seat on the "new" basement toilet because we are now totally spoiled by this one. Won't ever have any other type. March 6, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Big and small The actual seat itself is quite wide so the opening is very small. It took some getting used to, as you feel like you're not on it correctly. Overall, we thought it was uncomfortable. The slow close feature is great, however and the color matched the toilet perfectly. January 3, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by slow close lid and seat are great! Love the installation - install the bolts and the seat just locks on to them - great design. Slow close works well. November 21, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by This product was shipped with out the hardware, once I finally got some it worked for 2 days, now it slams. Returning This product was shipped with out the hardware, once I finally got some it worked for 2 days, now it slams. Returning September 19, 2012
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not as good as older models I bought a slow close champion seat, and I cannot get a corect aligning adjustment, I've adjusted several times, but to no avail, it still moves from side to side, I had no problems with my other toilet(which is a Kohler). I have a model #5359C051H .020, I cannot find any info on this seat on line? April 2, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Instructions are too complicated The seat itself seems fine, although someone light. However, I found instructions so overwhelming (compared to the Bemis seat which I bought at the same time, for comparison), that I'm returning the American Standard and keeping the Bemis. Bemis printed instructions are worse than horrible; however, they have a very clear YouTube video installation guide. Too bad American Standard -- long a recognized and trust brand name for sinks and toilets -- didn't provide an online video installation tutorial as well. October 5, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Design I love the slow close feature, but the finish is easily scratched and the seat is the most uncomfortable toilet seat I've ever sat on.  It's cut slimmer in the back, and doesn't match the shape of the Champion 4 toilet - I'm wondering if they made it the same shape as the toilet if it would be more comfortable.  August 23, 2014
