Yes, it can be used for a laundry sink. The typical "laundry faucet" has 4 inch centers between the hot and cold connections and this one does also. Just be sure you have the room for the tall spout under any cabinets that may be above the sink. This one is about 10.5 inches above the deck. Just be sure you have the room for the tall spout under any cabinets that may be above the sink. This one is about 10.5 inches above the deck. A difference between a bar and laundry faucet is style, finish and spout height. Some laundry faucets are very utilitarian with hose threads on the spout and bar faucets can "dress it up". I added a swivel spray aerator to mine for more ease of use rinsing large objects and the tall sides of the sink. Read Less

Answer:
Absolutely! Just make sure your laundry sink has 4" on center access holes for the faucet and plumbing hook ups. There is no functional difference between the two types of faucets. Quality and price are the only major differences.

Answer:
Bar sink faucet will fit a laundry sink. Bar sinks are not as deep or wide as laundry. High neck of this faucet allows getting buckets, for example, underneath easily.

Answer:
Yes this can be used for a laundry sink, but it lacks the hose bib on the spout and the difference is the spout. Most laundry faucets, have a threaded spout, to attach a hose to it, which does come in handy sometimes, especially if it's located in a garage or outside. The bar, typically, has an aerator.

Answer:
Yes, this faucet can be used as a laundry faucet. The height is excellent, but don't expect it to last a long time. We had ours about 4 years and it is leaking around the base and the chrome finish is peeling off.

Answer:
I'm not sure, you'd have to measure the holes, but there is no need for a center hole for this model because these do not have the stopper rod, nor a stopper as do the bathroom faucets. If you need the measurements for this, I can find the instructions and give that to you.

Answer:
No, not on this faucet. It would need an adaptor aerator and I would not recommend it on this type of spout. It is not made for that kind of utility.

Answer:
Not his particular model, but they make a hose bib type that swings left to right as this does, but it is NOT the goose neck type like this model. I would rather have this with a hose bib tip, but I could not find one. Check the picture and you will notice there are no threads on the spout and the threads for the aerator are not the same as the hose threads.

Answer:
This is a 4 inch center faucet specifically made for a 2 hole bar sink but can be used on a laundry sink with 4 inch center drilled holes. It's not made for an 8 inch center sink where the typical kitchen faucet at 1, 3 or 4 hole installation is done.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Purrrfect! This faucet is perfect for my laundry room use. My cat loves to drink from this high rise faucet! I love the handles that you can easily maneuver with the side of the hand. American Standard stands up to it's good reputation! April 12, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Replacement Very nice inexpensive replacement for bar sink faucet. Quality and ease of installation excellent for the price. March 8, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by it works. So far. So good. Just waiting to see what the one years anniversary brings. March 29, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Quality throughout Easily installed, in this case on a laundry sink, 90° turn from off to full on. Solid piece with silky-smooth valve-action. High neck stem allows working under the stream. I used plumber's putty to bed the unit . . . something the instructions ignore, but good practice for any sink fixture if you want to insure there will never be any water penetrating under the base to eventually drip down into the cabinet below. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Bar or Laundry Room Faucet I purchased this bar faucet to replace an old faucet that came with a laundry tub I purchased many years ago. It is such a nice faucet! So simple to install, only took me about 10 minutes, and works wonderful. So much easier to full tall buckets, and the water flow rate is much better than the old faucet. I would highly recommend it.
