Answer:
There is a set screw behind the red and blue button. You can view this when the button is removed and the handle is in the on position. Make sure you turn the water off first. An allen wrench will be needed to remove the set screw, then the handle will pull straight off.

Answer:
The diverter may be out of its housing. If you have high water pressure or when you turned on the water after the faucet was installed the pressure from the water may have pushed the diverter out of place. Remove the handle and spout push the diverter back in place and then turn your water on and that should fix the issue.

Rated 3.9 out of 5 by 14 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Replaced a similar faucet. Met my expectations. Purchased this as a replacement for a similar American Standard faucet on which the handle broke, and American Standard would not provide under warranty because I no longer had a legible receipt. This one was easy to install, and works very well. I did notice that the ceramic cartridge has the same part number as the cartridge I had to replace repeatedly on my old faucet, but A.S. did honor the warranty on those replacements. This time I scanned the receipt into my computer and protected the original in plastic. Hopefully they will upgrade their cartridges to a diamond surface as some other manufacturers have. All in all American Standard does make a pretty high quality product. March 25, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Problems After installing the faucet, I found that it leaked. When I contacted the manufacturer's customer service, they sent me the wrong sized cartridge. I am still waiting for the correct part. July 28, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good Product Makes a slight knocking or bumping noise every time the valve is opened to "full." April 28, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by The spray hose is worthless The fixture was well made and works well but the spray hose was worthless - I am a retired plumber and the nut for hooking up the spray hose to the fixture couldn't be tightened with any of my many tools, and when finally installed the spray was anemic - I ended up replacing first the spray head with my old Moen part to get a decent spray then ended up replacing the whole hose assembly when it wouldn't stop leaking under the sink. I have never had trouble with this brand before but won't buy a Moen again either - what has happened ? August 31, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works great Easy to install and fits perfectly. All parts and instructions were included in box. Smooth operation. Good bang for the buck. The only thing that was 'off', was the picture. It shows that the hand sprayer is black (which is what I wanted), but the one that came in the package was chrome. A little disappointed in color, but was no big deal. Other than that, have been very satisfied with how it works. September 25, 2011
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Quality American Standard as usual Works and looks Great Easy to install and I know I will always be able to get parts November 19, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Had to send back Suppose to be brand new and after all that work installing it would not SHUT off the hot water. I did call American Standard to get a part but it took over a week so I took it out and boxed and sent back. February 12, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by no problem with installation. Works well. Side sprayer requires less water pressure than previous faucet in same location- sprays smoothly and evenly. January 29, 2013
