what is the sanitary seat lift tab?

It is a slight tab on the side of the seat so you can lift the seat without worrying your fingers would touch the toilet.

how do you get more water in the bowl???????

Asked by: moose
Recommended max. water level is 1/2" below the top of the overflow pipe. With that in mind, there are a couple of ways. 1) Turn the FluidMaster fill valve's adjustment screw clockwise so more water is allowed to come in. 2) Check and ensure some slack is allowed for the flapper chain. 3) Install an adjustable flapper. There are various brands that have adjustable flappers.

what is the lenght of the toilet front of the bowl to back of the tank?

Asked by: Anonymous
It's 28" from the back of the tank to the front edge of the toilet seat. It's 29" if you measure from the wall to the front of the toilet.

Compact Cadet 3 FloWise 1-piece 1.28 GPF Single Flush Elongated Toilet in Linen is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 202.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great single piece toilet I had used one of these in an upstairs bath remodel a few years ago, and liked the size, style, and simplicity. When it came time to replace an original 1990's era master bath toilet in a remodelled master bath, I found Home Depot had the best price (on sale) and so I had it shipped to my nearest store for pickup. Everything except the flange ring was included, and I went with one of the new foam rings rather than wax, which I also got at Home Depot. It all installed well and we are pleased with the result. The unit is surprisingly heavy, so you may need some help getting it where you need it.

On the top of my list, was a compact toilet since our bathrooms are small. I limited my search to "round" seats until I found that the "Compact Cadet" was virtually the same size as a round. 1-Piece is the way to go. It eliminates any possible failures between the bowl and the tank and is easier to clean. This toilet has never clogged and looks great! The seat height is an inch higher than our hold units and more comfortable. Because it only uses 1.28 gallons, it fills very quickly and quietly. We did replace the seats with Bemis wooden, but had we not, the included (plastic) seats would have been just fine. I can't think of one negative. This is a great toilet and well worth the extra cost.

Noticeably less water each flush and our water company offers a rebate for it being eco-friendly. It is comfortable and compact, taking up less space in the bathroom. The little "lip" on the front underside of the seat is handy for the man to lift when he prefers! This one-piece toilet looks great and linen color is perfect for our bathroom. It is most definitely worth the money and a good choice for our remodeling project. We are very pleased and recommend this product.

The compact size is perfect, the shade of linen is perfect, it's a fantastic, clean flush with 2 settings. Light tap for just liquid, or press and hold for solid removal and both work beautifully! It was easy to install (well, my husband made it look easy anyway). The soft/self lowering lid is exceptional, but the plastic seat for sitting wiggles or something. We're normal size people and have tightened it as much as possible, but it does move slightly. I'm keeping the toilet, but may look into a new seat eventually.

Of course the seat is the normal size but the tank is shorter and narrower. It's perfect for my new powder room. It's a good quality and is a classic look. I got my vanity and mirror also from Home Depot. Everyone who sees the bathroom raves about everything in it including the toilet and its size.

Total install time including removing old toilet was about 45 minutes, did not have to make any adjustments to inside of tank, filled to correct level and flushed like a champ. Seat is a bit smaller than expected but was an easy install also. Toilet is a bit smaller than expected fit flush to the wall where the other was out about 4 inches out. The main time saver was using the foam gasket instead of the wax gasket... amazing time saver held the bolts in place attaching toilet to floor.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Don't know yet We ordered 2 toilets and apparently they were shattered in pieces when the shipping company (we ordered from Home Depot.com) went to find them on their docks. So the second set is on their way but unfortunately this American Standard toilet model is on back order until Dec 10th so will have to let you know when we get them. Usually though we are happy with American standard products so we are not concerned.
