how do you get more water in the bowl???????

Asked by: moose
Recommended max. water level is 1/2" below the top of the overflow pipe. With that in mind, there are a couple of ways. 1) Turn the FluidMaster fill valve's adjustment screw clockwise so more water is allowed to come in. 2) Check and ensure some slack is allowed for the flapper chain. 3) Install an adjustable flapper. There are various brands that have adjustable flappers.

what is the lenght of the toilet front of the bowl to back of the tank?

Asked by: Anonymous
It's 28" from the back of the tank to the front edge of the toilet seat. It's 29" if you measure from the wall to the front of the toilet.

Will a 11 1/2 inch rough in work with this model?

I know the rough in is listed as 12 inches.

Look at the drawing in http://www.homedepot.com/catalog/pdfImages/25/25f71036-e2f7-4a01-b133-91babdd889c0.pdf .. the gap between tank and wall is (5/8" ± 1/4")... also there is some tolerance between floor flange and floor bolts... As a DIY, I would go ahead and do it.

Compact Cadet 3 FloWise 1-piece 1.28 GPF Single Flush Elongated Toilet in Linen is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 194.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best toilet ever purchased I ordered on line and picked it up at the Home Depot. There was a discount of $50 so I was very pleased right off the bat. I'd checked out various types and manufacturers and the video sold me on this one. I was very impressed with this little toilets ability to "do its work." Me and my wife unpacked and installed it. It was a cinch to install. Now comes trying it. First it is at ADA height and is very easy on the legs. The seat that comes with it is not a quiet close so I swapped it out with the one I already had. I''ve had it in now for a week, and it is literally phenomenal. You press the handle and in a second it dumps around half a gallon of water very very quickly which siphons everything away. Gone. It sure does pack a punch. Then it quietly fills the tank. My next job is to replace my other two toilets with this one. Great job, American!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Compact Toilet This toilet was purchased for a compact space due to a countertop ledge across the top area of the toilet restricting the height, depth and width. It is perfect!! Looks great and we increased the height of the seat, all in this small space!! The toilet flushes wonderfully with the 1.28 GPF. I was a bit concerned about that. Very comfortable toilet seat that self closes. Very happy with this purchase and would recommend it for anyone with a smaller space for a toilet. Even like the look of a one piece toilet which we have never had. Nice product!

On the top of my list, was a compact toilet since our bathrooms are small. I limited my search to "round" seats until I found that the "Compact Cadet" was virtually the same size as a round. 1-Piece is the way to go. It eliminates any possible failures between the bowl and the tank and is easier to clean. This toilet has never clogged and looks great! The seat height is an inch higher than our hold units and more comfortable. Because it only uses 1.28 gallons, it fills very quickly and quietly. We did replace the seats with Bemis wooden, but had we not, the included (plastic) seats would have been just fine. I can't think of one negative. This is a great toilet and well worth the extra cost.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Home Depot is the best...........BUT.......... Home Depot "is the BEST"! However "I" picked the product to replace the poor quality Kohler toilet. Yes, poor quality Kohler finish. I had a location situation requiring a certain height limitation which really narrowed the choices. Home Depot really went to the finish line helping me get this project done! HD of Surprise AZ is GREAT! Unfortunately I had to pick a unit that only flushed....Ok. I bought two units from home Depot and the other toilet I bought was the Am. Std. Vormax with the EverClean finish! Simple the best and that includes our previous house where I installed the way too expensive Toto. IF you can, when you need a toilet replacement get the Am. Std. Vortex with EverClean finish I promise you will be happy.....and for sure buy it from Home Depot!!!

Noticeably less water each flush and our water company offers a rebate for it being eco-friendly. It is comfortable and compact, taking up less space in the bathroom. The little "lip" on the front underside of the seat is handy for the man to lift when he prefers! This one-piece toilet looks great and linen color is perfect for our bathroom. It is most definitely worth the money and a good choice for our remodeling project. We are very pleased and recommend this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from COMPACT CADET 3 FLOWISE 1-PIECE 1.28 GPF SINGLE FLUSH ELONGATED TOILET IN WHIT I'm still surprised how well it flushes given the small amount of water is used. The toilet looks good and compact. The only negative is that it's a bit high for my wife, who is 5'2". It's not a deal breaker, though. It seems this is the new standard height for most toilets.
