Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by MissTrish Gorgeous but leaky :(!!!!
This faucet is the absolute most gorgeous, vintage- looking faucet in the polished chrome and as we have an original 1940's porcelain huge sink, this faucet is visually the most perfect complement to our kept-vintage kitchen. HOWEVER :(!!! The juncture between the two components of the vertical portion which screw together leak and drip down into my kitchen cupboard below and have ruined the wood of my cupboard, and this faucet is only 1 1/2 years old :(!!! I'm very stressed because I fear that it will be ruined if it needs to be removed and screwed together tighter, and at that price, this should last me a few decades at least :/!!!!

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by JoAnnL rebuild this one yourself
788.00 retailed value! A very expensive product for its many problems. Contacted customer service and they tell me the lifetime warranty is for parts only. So I, a retired old woman will gets all the parts to completely rebuild this faucet that they no longer make! So why not replace it for a working faucet! Ask them.... so now I am told the bolts have to be cut off because they are frozen and locked on. And after all that, we may still have problems with it since we have had so many issues caused by defects since the day we had it hooked up! And this is American Standard?

This is a very lovely looking faucet and made very sturdy and is heavy, but it continually dripped, probably due to the style of it and also it got very hot when using the hot water, making it difficult to hold the sprayer for long. It was also rather splashy because of the height.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Old house lover Great Look for old kitchen....
I bought this faucet because I was remodeling an 18th century kitchen. I wanted this look and it was the only one I could find at the time. It had the look I wanted but after only 2 years it began to drip. American Standard sent repair parts right away and were great to deal with but now I am spending time finding the diagrams of the faucet so I can replace them. They should have been included. Also the hot/cold caps cracked within the first few months of use. Good thing I like old things...

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by gmrex Solid brass. No plastic. The real McCoy.
The looks and feel of this faucet is worth the $200.00 more paid over less quality faucets. Time will tell if the seals and gaskets hold up longer then it's less priced counterparts.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Pdxkitchen Hot/Cold Index Buttons crack
We love this faucet overall but our hot/cold index buttons cracked as well. We will likely replace with the brushed nickel button for more durability. Recommend the faucet but not the model with the hot/cold buttons.
