The American Standard EZ Install Heater allows you to enjoy longer, more relaxing soaks in your Whirlpool and Whirlpool/air bath combination massage tub. Fill the tub with water at your preferred temperature, and this in-line heater will constantly maintain it for as long as you desire. The American Standard EZ Install Whirlpool Heater is easily installed in only two steps. Just remove the quick connect pipe and replace with the heater. Enjoy a constant water temperature, allowing for longer, and more relaxing soaks. The heater is UL listed and ready to use with all EverClean and Champion Whirlpools and combinations.

Does it have a flow sensor. Or do i need to have a switch on the gfci to shut it off. What im basically asking will it shut off on its own

The heater has a pressure switch that operates the unit when the tub is full of water and the pump is running.
