Customer Reviews

Rated 4.2 out of 5 by 17 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Easy to install. It was easy to install as long as you have a 110v outlet nearby. Works great! July 19, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not working according to adverisement Manual says it will maintain whatever temp you have the water at when you turn on the pump. It does not work that way. It continually heats the water until it reaches 104 degrees. That is not maintaining. May 8, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Buy Safe T Heater instead - CHEAPER Just got of the phone with American Standard - EZ install heater and Safe T heater (both on this website) are the same. Customer service literally said: Buy the cheapest, they are identical. So go for the Safe T heater - $132,- February 17, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by This product is really valuable and works as advertised. Some installation challenges and use issues. I'm really glad I got this whirlpool heater. I'm enjoying longer, hotter baths. And that is very good for sore muscles and medical conditions. Installation notes: You will need a channel-lock pliers large enough for the pipe - probably 12-inch handle. If you are not comfortable with both plumbing and electrical installation, hire an expert. Follow the instructions carefully. Installation is dependent on having a good grounding location for the heavy grounding wire available under the tub. That is supposed to be on the pump, but it may not be there or may not be reachable. If it's not there, installation may be a real hassle. A 3-prong GFI outlet is also essential. Use: The heater will keep a hot tub hot indefinitely, and will slowly warm a warm tub to hot. But it is not regulated - it will keep heating until the bath is 104 degrees F. If this is too hot for you, there are two options. You can run a trickle of cold water into the bath. Or, since the heater is tied to the pump, you can turn off the jets, and the bath will cool. You may want to buy a hot tub thermometer, as the heat can fool you. December 10, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Need better install instsructions Plumber needed to put it in. He was not familiar with product and said the instructions were vague especially regarding the electricity aspect of the install. He wouldn't complete the install, said I should contact an electrician. I can't believe it's that difficult but there were virtually no instructions included. Haven't been able to use it. Should I really have to pay two different service people to install this!? I think NOT August 11, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Pricey but nice I bought this item to complement my whirlpool tub. Good purchase September 22, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Works as it should. No trouble what so ever. great item. Recommend to others looking for similar item. July 27, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Keeps the temperature nicely We were remodeling our bathroom and installing a whirlpool tub. I initially didn't plan on including this but our contractor insisted. He said he had other customers who skimped and didn't buy this, only to regret it soon after. I have found that my bath water stays at the temperature I initially made it when I filled it up. We were a bit perplexed as there is very little paperwork with this and we wondered if it had the ability to heat the water up more or would it just keep it the same. There is no way for us to designate a temperature or levers or buttons to regulate it, so we've assumed it is just keeping the temperature the same and we have not noticed any drop in temperature while using the bath. My only complaint is that I would have liked a more thorough manual so we could have a better idea of what the complete function of this unit is. That being said, I really have no complaints. It is doing its job and that's the most important part. December 28, 2014
