Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by AverageDude Great quality from American Standard
This is another top quality product from American Standard.
Starting from the beginning...The faucet came packed well and in excellent condition. The instructions were very clear and easy to understand. I am very impressed with all the extras that are included with this faucet. It has everything you need to get the job done! The faucet includes color coded stainless steel lines for the hot and cold water and they are already attached. Since they are color coded, It is very easy to see which hose gets connected to the hot water side and which hose gets connected to the cold water side. This is simple thing, but it also very nice to have the color coding. The "pop up" stopper uses the new and improved cable system instead of the old "ball and rod" style. I really like this style. The faucet also includes a trim plate to cover the two outer holes if you are converting from a 4" - 3 hole faucet to this single hole type. The satin finish is very nice. The single lever functions very well. I really like this faucet. It is very easy to install even for a novice.
Con: I would say the only thing I really don't like about many of the new faucets. They require a small green plastic tool to remove the filter/screen(I included a picture). So...... you must make sure you remember where you put the tool or it is very difficult to remove the screen.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by AndyT Bad purchase: Integral leaks
Unit has stainless braid supply lines that are integral to the control "module" in faucet body. No way to tighten/seal/replace the integrated supply lines. There is a slow leak that runs down the braid. Immediately after install doesn't appear to have a leak. However... I will not buy another American Standard faucet to replace this one. I recommend all buyers read reviews on Home Depot site before buying.

I expected more considering the price of this faucet. There is nothing precise about adjusting the water volume and temperature. You will waste a lot of water trying to find an acceptable temperature. It can go from scalding hot to cold just by decreasing the volume.I have three other single handle faucets in the house and none of the others are this unpredictable. It comes with a deck plate for a 3 hole installation but there is no way to lock it into center so that it will wander from side to side just from adjusting the temperature. If you over tighten the mounting kit nut you run the risk of cracking the vanity top. Although I've only had it installed for three weeks, I bought it almost 3 months ago (HD's return policy is 90 days) so I only have about 10 days to decide whether I hate it bad enough to go through all the trouble of taking it out to return it. What happened to American Standard? They were always the bench mark in faucets and fixtures. I'm sure I could have found something better for $87.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Eric This product is good quality, and easy to install.
The black color matches great with our cabinets. We like the 1 handle faucet. And we know the quality will be there. There is also a feature to control the water pressure and spray.

After posting my review of the Espana bathroom faucet I received an e-mail from the American Standard Technical Team. They said the problem has been corrected and they are sending me a replacement. I also heard from the Customer Care Team, apologizing for the problem and offering any additional help I may need. I must say their quick response was very impressive. I feel American Standard is a company that is very concerned with customer satisfaction.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Rose Pure junk - it leaks!!!
Bought a shiny new vanity for my little bathroom (off the bedroom) and after much ruminating on the type of faucet I needed/wanted, I selected this faucet. I was confident in my choice because it is - after all - American Standard, a well-known name in plumbing fixtures for more than 100 years. And it was a pricey little affair.
After it was all hooked up and the cabinet cleaned up, I saw a puddle of water inside my new vanity! I stood on my head and leaned into the cabinet and found that this piece of junk was leaking INSIDE the faucet, and the water was dribbling down the cold-water supply line.
What a hassle to pull it all out and return the thing. Right then, I decided I wanted a different brand name. When I went to Home Depot, there was an old plumbing guy (a clerk) and he said, "Oh gosh, if I'd been here earlier, I would have told you to stay away from that model. It's the MOST FREQUENTLY RETURNED faucet that we sell."
Came home with Moen and it works beautifully.
Home Depot shouldn't be selling this junk.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by GeeW Should have checked the Reviews first!!
Oh no.........mine leaks too. Just installed our new faucet and first time I turned on the water it began to leak. We found it was leaking internally from the faucet so there was nothing to tighten. Called the Hot Line but it was late Sat. so will have to wait till Mon. Was thinking they could tell me how to fix it or maybe I would return it for another one but after reading the reviews and so many people having the same problem.............think I better find something else. It's too bad, I really like the design and it looks great in the new bathroom but who wants to deal with a leaking faucet. Thought American Standard would be more reliable but seems like this problem has been going on for some time and hasn't been corrected by the company. Very disappointed!!
