Been installed for 2 years now and after 1 year it started getting hard water buildup around the faucet. (I have a water-softener) Plumber told me that the cartridge needed replacement (after dripping for who knows how long under the sink and damaging the cabinet) so I called AS about it and they asked how long ago I purchased it. Then they asked if I had a receipt which I told them most likely not since this was a new home and I doubted I could find one at which point AS told me there is no warranty without a receipt. REALLY!! I WILL NEVER BUY ANY AMERICAN STANDARD PRODUCT!!!!!

Very poor construction. Internal leaking started just after few months of use. Outer coating is also peeling off. Will never buy AS products again.

Had this faucet for 3 years and it's broken. Flange area discolored in less than 6 months. Problem is we have two sinks and will need to replace the other one to have a matching pair as I won't be buying this product again.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Mutineer Avoid! - Leak& has poor finish
Bought 3 of these for 2013 remodel. Upon installation, 2 of 3 leaked from within head of unit. Water drips down the supply hoses inside cabinet causing cabinet damage. I exchanged for 2 new ones. 1 of these leaked in the same manner. I foolishly replaced it with another new one. Now after about a year of use, another has started leaking in the same place. In addition, the finish pealed off the drain flange after 6 months of use. Also, finish is delaminating around neck of faucet.
Home Depot note says Amer. Standard made changes and has a repair kit available. NOT TRUE !!according to person I talked to at Amer. Standard. I was told NO PROBLEM exists for this model but that a replacement cartridge is available. How can there be no problem when I got 4 bad faucets out of 6 (so far)??

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by kacee A good faucet for the money
I bought 4 of these. After about 18 months one started leaking. I contacted American Standard. They asked that I email a picture of the faucet or the receipt if I had it - otherwise a picture would do. They send me a brand new faucet. No questions asked.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by AverageDude Great quality from American Standard
This is another top quality product from American Standard.
Starting from the beginning...The faucet came packed well and in excellent condition. The instructions were very clear and easy to understand. I am very impressed with all the extras that are included with this faucet. It has everything you need to get the job done! The faucet includes color coded stainless steel lines for the hot and cold water and they are already attached. Since they are color coded, It is very easy to see which hose gets connected to the hot water side and which hose gets connected to the cold water side. This is simple thing, but it also very nice to have the color coding. The "pop up" stopper uses the new and improved cable system instead of the old "ball and rod" style. I really like this style. The faucet also includes a trim plate to cover the two outer holes if you are converting from a 4" - 3 hole faucet to this single hole type. The satin finish is very nice. The single lever functions very well. I really like this faucet. It is very easy to install even for a novice.
Con: I would say the only thing I really don't like about many of the new faucets. They require a small green plastic tool to remove the filter/screen(I included a picture). So...... you must make sure you remember where you put the tool or it is very difficult to remove the screen.
