Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by AverageDude Great quality from American Standard
This is another top quality product from American Standard.
Starting from the beginning...The faucet came packed well and in excellent condition. The instructions were very clear and easy to understand. I am very impressed with all the extras that are included with this faucet. It has everything you need to get the job done! The faucet includes color coded stainless steel lines for the hot and cold water and they are already attached. Since they are color coded, It is very easy to see which hose gets connected to the hot water side and which hose gets connected to the cold water side. This is simple thing, but it also very nice to have the color coding. The "pop up" stopper uses the new and improved cable system instead of the old "ball and rod" style. I really like this style. The faucet also includes a trim plate to cover the two outer holes if you are converting from a 4" - 3 hole faucet to this single hole type. The satin finish is very nice. The single lever functions very well. I really like this faucet. It is very easy to install even for a novice.
Con: I would say the only thing I really don't like about many of the new faucets. They require a small green plastic tool to remove the filter/screen(I included a picture). So...... you must make sure you remember where you put the tool or it is very difficult to remove the screen.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Eric This product is good quality, and easy to install.
The black color matches great with our cabinets. We like the 1 handle faucet. And we know the quality will be there. There is also a feature to control the water pressure and spray.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by BC Leaking from body
Bought this December 2012, it leaks now from somewhere in the faucet body and ruined my vanity before it was noticed. Can't believe it from American Standard - but it was made in Mexico, not the USA - no warranty because I live in Canada and bought it on a trip to the States. Bought a Price Pfister to replace it.

I expected more considering the price of this faucet. There is nothing precise about adjusting the water volume and temperature. You will waste a lot of water trying to find an acceptable temperature. It can go from scalding hot to cold just by decreasing the volume.I have three other single handle faucets in the house and none of the others are this unpredictable. It comes with a deck plate for a 3 hole installation but there is no way to lock it into center so that it will wander from side to side just from adjusting the temperature. If you over tighten the mounting kit nut you run the risk of cracking the vanity top. Although I've only had it installed for three weeks, I bought it almost 3 months ago (HD's return policy is 90 days) so I only have about 10 days to decide whether I hate it bad enough to go through all the trouble of taking it out to return it. What happened to American Standard? They were always the bench mark in faucets and fixtures. I'm sure I could have found something better for $87.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by DIYhomeowner This product gets around the hardest part
The biggest pain when installing these bathroom sinks is the pop-up drain. You need to get this rod in the right way, feed it through a strap, attach with a spring clip, and attach that strap to the rod on top of the sink---it's a big pain and it often doesn't work right the first try.
This product has a nifty feature where the pull to operate the drain is connected to a cable that easily screws into the drain pipe. It just works.
The product also came with everything needed. The supply lines were even already attached to the faucet, so you can basically drop it in, screw in a few pieces, and you're done.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by AndyT Bad purchase: Integral leaks
Unit has stainless braid supply lines that are integral to the control "module" in faucet body. No way to tighten/seal/replace the integrated supply lines. There is a slow leak that runs down the braid. Immediately after install doesn't appear to have a leak. However... I will not buy another American Standard faucet to replace this one. I recommend all buyers read reviews on Home Depot site before buying.
