I purchased this air bath and my plumber has installed it. The air bath was supposed to include an inline heating unit. However when trying it out this past weekend, the hot water stopped and the water turned cool, when the tub was about 1/2 full. It was like the hot water tank in the house was out of hot water.

I did not think that would happen since the everclean air bath has a separate inline heating unit. Now that the bath is installed and the bathroom is finished - how can I tell if the heater is working or if it is even included? I think something is wrong and perhaps the heating unit was not attached? What can I do to be sure the heating unit is working?

Answer:
The blower on an air bath style tub has a heating element that is similar to a hair dryer. With the tub empty, turn the blower on and let it run for a few minutes then feel the air. If the heating element is working there should be a noticeable difference in the air from the jets and the ambient temperature in the house.
