If I went with the 6 foot tub I would have to guy my whole bathroom so has any tall people tried this tub? Is there anywhere I can at least see it before buying?

Hate to buy it to find out I would still have my knees sticking out of the water!

Thanks
Fred

Answer:
I have this tub and love it, but it is not big enough for someone your size to stretch out in...It does get very deep which is awesome. We gutted our bath and this was still the larges length we could fit.

I have yet to see the difference (other than price). Other than minor layout differences and date codes, the specs look identical. There also seems to be a difference in the drain part number. May I please trouble you to explain the differences between the tubs and drains?

Customer Reviews

Rated 3.7 out of 5 by 3 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great tub and price I was very excited to find this tub in a five foot length. It was all that would fit in our narrow bathroom even after gutting it completely. It is very well made and can get very deep when filled if desired. It has plenty of width to stretch out, but being only five feet long, a tall person will need to prop their feet on the overflow rim too soak fully extended. I will testify the overflow drain works very well because I have forgotten I was running the water to fill it a couple of times and it didn't flood the house. It is very easy to clean. Be sure to note certain products cannot be used to clean it or it will ruin the surface. Our overflow cover was included in the box and I have seen a few reviews where people could not find theirs. We used and apron but did not purchase it through HD who did not carry the five foot size at the time. We ordered it through an online supplier. It is okay and was simple to use, but the built in look would have been preferable for a tub this nice. The only catch we ran into with its install was finding a proper bath tub faucet. The faucet and fill knobs need to be wall mounted. The length of the tubs fill spout will need to be longer than average to extend over the rim of the tub so the water pours directly into the tub basin, otherwise it will splash off the rim before flowing into the tub. It wasn't hard to find, but it wasn't expected. Overall its a great tub especially for the price! September 10, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by soaking comfort ! I stayed at an inn that had recently upgraded their rooms, and part of the upgrade was this soaking tub. It was easy for me to soak for more than an hour, because the tub was so comfortable. I am now remodeling my bathroom and putting this tub in my house. I look forward to many long soaks. I am getting the deep water drain gizmo to make the water level higher. With more water, it keeps the temperature stable longer. July 17, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Defective Item I suggest checking this product immediately upon receipt and not waiting until install to find out it is defective. It arrived without enough fiberglass in one area, thus unable to hold water. Now we are out the time and expense of returning a special order tub, ordering a new one and bringing our contractors back after the 8-10 days it will take to receive the new product. Lesson learned.
