Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by BobS BEWARE - 6.5" between tank holes not compatible with all bowls and included fill valve is substandard
The distance between the holes in the bottom of this tank measure approx. 6.5" across. That's a measurement from the outermost edge of one hole to that of the other. See the pic, though it's not showing exactly because the ruler was raised. If you're buying this as a replacement, make sure the holes on your bowl measure the same distance. I tried to put this tank on a Crane toilet bowl and the holes didn't match up as they were only 6" apart, (edge-to-edge measurement).
Home Depot - I recommend adding hole-distance to the list of specs for this product on your website - might save you some returns and save customers some time and heartburn.
Note to people looking for a tank that will fit a bowl with 6" hole distance - Home Depot carries a 1.6 gpf tank in store (at least in Maryland) for $30 that fits. It's what I eventually bought. The item number was N2416T. Other associated product numbers on the label in the aisle: 0000-191-895 and 0 17744 00202 3. UPC on the box: 732291241625. Product name is "white gravity flush toilet tank." None of these numbers allowed me to find the product on Home Depot's site but if you take that info to the store, a manager should be able to hook you up.
The hole problem isn't why this gets a low rating - it gets that for the chintzy fill valve whose lower threads are made of brittle plastic. Mine arrived broken so even if the tank had fit, I'd have had to replace the valve. Otherwise, the tank looks decent enough.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by SteveB If you need 6" (not 6.5) between mounting holes, read this !
Listen to BobS of MD if you need a tank with 6" between mounting holes (not 6.5" like this one). After researching everything online for 3 days looking for an option to fix my hairline cracked Crane toilet tank which continued to slowly leak water even after replacing bolts/rubber washers, spud gasket and putting crazy glue on the hairline crack, I debated trying Plumber/Marine Epoxy + Silicone sealer versus just buying a whole new toilet. Everyone online seemed to reject the Epoxy/sealer option (eventually will fail one day), and almost everyone said no to finding a compatible tank only. But BobS comment was perfect. I followed his advice exactly... took the Aisle and UPC number of the "White Gravity flush tank" to my local Home Depot in VA, and the helper took me to the shelf which had 4 of them (only $30). He helped me verify the measurements, I took home and installed in 10 mins, and it worked perfectly ! It even included new bolts, spud gasket, refiller, valve/flap, and better rubber bolt washers. Cheapest fix ever, and no more leaks. If you need a Crane 2-bolt tank replacement only, try this generic Home Depot tank: UPC 732291241625, Aisle 0000-191-895 17744002023 Product N2416T White Gravity flush tank. (Thank you BobS for saving me a lot of additional time and money!!)
