Dear Valued Home Depot Customer,
We reached out to MFG for more information and below is their response.
" The caulking/sealant around the rim of the tub will secure it in place, and, if necessary, a bead of construction adhesive on the feet will help secure the tub."

Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 16 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Most Amazing soaker tub EVER! Like the title says. I'm not a big bather but the wife and kids are. However I find myself making the time to take a bath in this thing ever chance I get. You would be very hard pressed to find an equivalent tub anywhere near the depth or the price of this item. Also the arm rests and neck rest add a very comfortable and subtle touch. August 10, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by nice tub my pick-up was a joke. Your computer system is really bad. The squies didn't match the product. August 2, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect Soak Was looking to gain space in my bathroom by decreasing the size of the tub from my prior spa Roman tub. This is a perfect size in width & length to soak and lay back without slipping under. It looks beautiful too. I LOVE MY TUB! May 3, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Beautifule tub, niace and deep. Just what I needed. The tub is the exact match for what I needed to upgrade my bath. It is well appointed and is very comfortable. December 30, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect tub for me This tub is exactly what I wanted....deep enough for a good, quiet, relaxing soak after a hard day. I also have a whirlpool tub but it is so noisy I don't use it.....this one is perfect for what I wanted. The contractor who installed it said it went in easily. I'm a satisfied customer August 11, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Small Tub I'm not sure why this tub gets good reviews....... unless they're from very tiny people. Let me explain: I'm 5'3", 125 pounds. There's no way to completely submerge my whole body under the water, no matter how full I fill the tub; either my feet or knees or most od my torso are left out of the water. As far as the width: My <not too substantial> hips fit but, with very little wiggle room. This is because of the molded arm rests, which I never use. I can't imagine someone larger than myself being comfortable in this tub! It's installed now so, I'm stuck with it but I sure wish I had made a better choice. October 29, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Quality Control Issues I love everything about this tub except the variation in build quality. First tub had almost 1/4 inch variation in the thickness of the rim and was not properly glued along one edge. This would have made the edge extremely fragile (as others have noted). Second tub had sound edges but had a BB sized bubble in the smooth part of the bottom, which was very noticeable. Third tub is on order but is a week overdue and still shows "in process" at the vendor. I wonder if American Standard has stopped the manufacturing line to address the quality control issues. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Good product Overall good product, wish it could be longer inside, it is possible because there is a flat section at the back leaning side, on top, of at least 4 inches. For shorter people should not matter but for people taller than 5'8" is not comfortable. January 16, 2015
