Customer Reviews

Evolution 5 ft. Reversible Drain Bathtub in Linen is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 17.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love my new tub! I installed the whole package, tub, walls and apron. It looks great and is exactly what I wanted. There is no tub with a deeper return. In fact, the return is placed on the edge of the top of the tub, like a waterfall spout. The 5' tub is good, any longer and you'd float! Great tub!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from This time no jets Similar tub in my house when purchased except it had the jets. They broke after a year-I'll blame the kids not the product. 6 years later the bottom of the tub cracked-I'll blame the product not the kids. Flawed design in my opinion, the bottom of the tub rests on two legs that run the outside length supporting the bottom of the tub a couple inches in the air leaving no support in the center. My tub was all tiled in so I was pleased to see the same model with no jets and what looks to be a flat bottom in the picture. The picture is a misrepresentation of the product as this tub does in fact have the two legs running the length of the tub with nothing in the middle. Time will tell to see if this one lasts. I'm disappointed the product 360 degree chose to remove that aspect-it's an important one and would have made me keep looking for a better designed tub. I'm only 170 sopping wet and the wife and kids are smaller-it wasn't weight.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Quality Control Issues I love everything about this tub except the variation in build quality. First tub had almost 1/4 inch variation in the thickness of the rim and was not properly glued along one edge. This would have made the edge extremely fragile (as others have noted). Second tub had sound edges but had a BB sized bubble in the smooth part of the bottom, which was very noticeable. Third tub is on order but is a week overdue and still shows "in process" at the vendor. I wonder if American Standard has stopped the manufacturing line to address the quality control issues.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Most Amazing soaker tub EVER! Like the title says. I'm not a big bather but the wife and kids are. However I find myself making the time to take a bath in this thing ever chance I get. You would be very hard pressed to find an equivalent tub anywhere near the depth or the price of this item. Also the arm rests and neck rest add a very comfortable and subtle touch.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Small Tub I'm not sure why this tub gets good reviews....... unless they're from very tiny people. Let me explain: I'm 5'3", 125 pounds. There's no way to completely submerge my whole body under the water, no matter how full I fill the tub; either my feet or knees or most od my torso are left out of the water. As far as the width: My <not too substantial> hips fit but, with very little wiggle room. This is because of the molded arm rests, which I never use. I can't imagine someone larger than myself being comfortable in this tub! It's installed now so, I'm stuck with it but I sure wish I had made a better choice.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good product Overall good product, wish it could be longer inside, it is possible because there is a flat section at the back leaning side, on top, of at least 4 inches. For shorter people should not matter but for people taller than 5'8" is not comfortable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Soak Was looking to gain space in my bathroom by decreasing the size of the tub from my prior spa Roman tub. This is a perfect size in width & length to soak and lay back without slipping under. It looks beautiful too. I LOVE MY TUB!
