Answer:
Yes I would say so. This faucet swivels a complete half circle. (it cant go in a full circle because I have a wall behind my sink preventing it) but it does swivel with out restrictions like past faucets had.

Answer:
I don't have the clearance behind the faucet for it to swivel 360, but I believe it will. It goes as far as my backsplash allows, which is almost all the way around. This leads me to assume it //could// go 360 degrees.

Answer:
There is a hose inside the body so it cannot be looped round and round but it can swivel then you go back into place but not 361 degrees and beyond as there is no swivel on the hose in the base.
I just spun mine to the back, I could spray out the window if I wanted...

Answer:
Since there is a backsplash behind my faucet, the swivel action stops at 180* when the head hits. There is, however, no obvious "stop" before 180* and it Feels as if it would keep turning all the way around. Just my guess.

I've bought several of these faucets over the years. Somewhere in 2012-2013, American Standard starting making the metal weight. If you call AS, they should send you a new one (I got one this way).

I would assume your local Home Depot would have one if one was not provided with the faucet. Or call the 800 number in the manual stating you do not have one in your package.

Answer:
Based on review and my own personal experience, this has to do with the spray hose underneth th sink and how much weight is holding it down. I've installed several faucets and have only had issues with one spray head dropping down...this was in my kitchen and it drove me nuts. Called AS, they sent a new, heavier weight (which they now supply with the sink) and no more issues.

How old? Go to Home Depot and talk to the plumbing sales Rep. it's a quick fix replacing a simple washer with a pair of channel lock pliers, put tape on the unit to avoid scratches. If it is new return it for a replacement.

I actually own this model, the tape thing is because it is not tight on the line which is a 2 second fix OR the O ring is missing ... either way, a call to American Standard --will send out the entire spray head or whatever is bad FREE in 5 days for lifetime, including things that are caused by environmental issues like calcified pieces. I bought it because it has ceramic disc, has a lifetime warranty by a company that doesn't put you on hold for long periods and cares. Water plays havoc on faucets, especially with all the additives in water these days... The chemicals added to make the water drinkable eats at the rubber on some brands, this brand is washerless so it will not have to have the cartridge changed because of wear. Good luck!! Read Less

This is not a common issue, if the handsprayer is not staying in place then the hand spray holder has been broken and needs to be replaced. If the customer called American Standard a new sprayer holder would be sent out.

There are only two sizes, 4 inch spread and 8 inch... kitchens are typically 8" which unless you formerly had a custom faucet drilled into granite, the standard is 8 inches which WILL work in the 3 hole. Typically 4" is bathroom and laundry, 8" is kitchen.

Customer Reviews

Rated 3.9 out of 5 by 198 reviewers.
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Great product but I have leak problem right off the handle I have this faucet installed a year ago and it works great since the day i installed it. Recently I realized water is dripping down off the handle when I turned on the water. I was thinking something is broke or wore out within the inside. I am expecting this is a long lasting product without any problems. I'm not sure if this is a very usual case out there or I am just another unlucky guy. I fell disappointed at this moment for this brand name product. Somebody please share their comments if they have similar experience like me. July 25, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Could be much better I had issues with my old faucet and had to use a professional to install this new one. Even so, the neck moves smoothly but SO DOES the entire unit. I had to use a heavy duty caulk to secure the unit to the base so only the neck turns now. Installation again, was done professionally so it is NOT the user in this case. August 30, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by First Time Installer the faucet was easy to install and once assembled looked great. August 30, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good choice When my old faucet became hard to move left to right in less than 3 years, I decided to replace only with American Standard product because of good past product experiences and great customer service. This faucet i bought it in store for convenience. It is good design and easy to install. It works as good as 3 to 4 times the pricy ones so why spend more and life time warranty. August 22, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Leaks Internally Installed per instructions and had a leak. Leak was coming down under cabinet from the internal center area of the faucet. Had to take (brand new) faucet apart to tighten internal parts which should have come tightened already. What was supposed to be a quick and easy install has turned into a project... The faucet also would not allow any water to go through it. I had to take the end/spray piece off and clean the internal parts which were loaded with debris (which appear to be from the faucet internal manufacturing residue/shavings). Once I cleaned that out, the faucet worked properly. This is ridiculous. I've never had all these issues with a brand new faucet in a sealed box and packaging. What gives? I don't have the time to uninstall the entire faucet now and return it. So, I am stuck trying it out for the next few days to determine if it will stay. I have to leave everything out of the cabinet and place a bucket there to avoid any water damage until I feel confident enough to return the cabinet to normal use. If I return this, I will definitely buy another model/brand to avoid all the headaches. August 13, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great product Great product. Looks nice also. Would recommend the product August 16, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Looks good. It is very attractive. I hired a plumber to install it so I don't know how hard it would be to install. August 2, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good Product Product was very easy to install, but make sure you have the right fittings and hoses to do the job. My other sink had different connectors and that was so much stress. It is fixed now and works great. July 19, 2016
