I am trying to purchase a toilet without the hole in the bottom. We have well water and it will get clogged. We just want a regular toilet with rim water flush only.

Dear Valued Home Depot Customer,
We reached out to MFG for more information and below is their response.
“As with all American Standard toilets, this model does in fact have a siphon jet located in the bottom of the bowl."
Thanks

Does this empty out all the water with a quick tap of the handle?

As the other customer asked: Is this a Dual Function handle?
Does it have to be held to empty out the majority of the 1.6 gallons?
By tapping it fast to flush it DOES NOT empty out most of the tank.
We have not yet moved in to test it to its full potential (no bathroom doors yet) but we also noticed what the other customer wrote in the question.
Or is there an adjustment in the tank to allow more emptying of the tank?

Is American Standard in the house? thanks

Fairfield 1-piece 1.6 GPF Single Flush Elongated Toilet in White with Seat is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 38.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Found a Winner! Have installed several toilets over the years, but I'm sure nothing came close to this one. It has a powerful flush, looks great and was very easy to install. I really like the one piece design. I upgraded the plastic seat that was included to a slow-close wood model and would suggest anyone buying this unit to consider doing the same, it makes so much difference!

LOL) But the handle is amazing as you press down and it flushes completely, if you know what I mean. The only problem is they always make them now to show t he pipes and I would rather is be easier to clean at the bottom near the floor...

I like the elongated shape of the bowl. I have a very small space for this toilet, and it is under a countertop, so with the handle on the side it's a little difficult to reach . Almost a month. For the price, yes.

I would recommend this toilet in that it is compact, comfortable and saves money on water. However, it doesn't clean the bowl sufficiently. Also the toilet seat is not as white as the toilet and it's cheap material.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor quality; tank leaked and fill valve failed long before it should have (2.5 years); Against my better judgment based on experience with a very bad American Standard Air Conditioning system, I bought two of these American Standard toilets from Home Depot #524 (order #W188024562) on 03/21/2013. One tank leaked through a porous spot (not a crack) on the back of the tank (which I repaired from the inside with Gorilla glue). The fill-valve on the other toilet stopped working after 2 years, and the city water supply is not hard and tested very clean. So, all 3 out of 3 bad experiences with American Standard means I will make a point to steer clear of any more American Standard products of any kind.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from good purchase I bought one of these a few months back and it seems to have better flushing power than the current one I just installed. The current one I have installed sometimes has to be flushed 2 or even 3 times until all the waste finally goes down. I'm a little disappointed in this and can't figure out why our other one does so well compared to the one I just installed. I have even tried to mess with the water level in the tank and less slack on the chain so that more water flushes each time, but still no luck. So I guess what I'm saying is that I am very satisfied with my first purchase, but not so much with the second one. Keep in mind these are the exact same toilets. Anyway, I don't understand it, but I hope this review helps someone.

If someone were to sit on the cover it might break. It says single flush but unfortunately they're limited to a max of 1.6 gpf so expect to sometimes need two (my wife does almost every time).
