Customer Questions & Answers

does this toilet need a gasket ,like the floor models do????

Asked by: Anonymous
That neoprene gasket cost me $53. My Home Depot did not carry it. Nor did Lowe's.

does this include the seat?

Asked by: Anonymous
No. The seat is extra. There are many to chose from at HD. Get an elongated (not round) one.

What seal is recommended for the wall mount?

Asked by: Rudolph
Zurn neoprene, which you can order from home depot, 5 and 1/4 inch outside diameter x 4 and 1/4 inside x 3/4 inch thick. I cant remember the series for sure but 3200 comes to mind, around $12-$15, hope this helps.

I was initially concerned about the white color matching my vanity top, but it came out perfect. I am extremely pleased with the product and my plumbers said it was a great product. This one replaces an old one that was also wall-mounted, so it was a fairly easy process for the plumbers - however, very, very heavy! It looks wonderful in my bathroom and, although this type of toilet is much more expensive than a regular floor mounted model, it is worth it! Annie

I would get a different one if this one was not already installed. Cons: It does not always flush everything down, and that includes when there is just TP in there. I find that if I hold the landle for a long time it works better. It is also so loud it's shocking. Finally, and while this is a small one, it was annoying. It was missing washers so the plumber had to run to the store to get them, which costed me like 25 bucks because I paid the guy by the hour.

Having a house that has only wall mounted toilets, and over the years having to replace them this one is the best by far. Saves on water, powerful flush (anyone with wall mount knows that not always the case), great design. I highly recommend.

Buyer beware I bought a American Standard heritage toilet from Home Depot which was discontinued and I had to buy a whole new toilet because I was unable to get a toilet seat to fit that toilet either from Home Depot or American Standard and they would not help me get a toilet seat I was advice I'd have to buy a whole new toilet. This toilet was an expensive toilet and this is unacceptable that you have to spend another thousand dollars on a toilet it's only 10 to 13 years old because you can't get a toilet seat to fit One person said they may be able to get a toilet seat for it but it was $244 for a toilet seat I've never heard of such a thing so be careful to buy from Home Depot and American Standard because if it's been specially ordered by Home Depot and they discontinue it you cannot get parts for that toilet

The replacement toilet came, we attached it to the wall, and the tank innards are not working - this unit is completely enclosed inside the tank itself - so now we are on our third order… Three trips from the plumber… Cost me half the toilet so far...

The first one came in (shipped to store) with the box intact but 2 major cracks in the toilet. Am very hopeful the second one arrives without any defects. Am giving it a "recommend" based on the fact it looked like it would perform just fine.

This toilet was great because it did fit right on the current wall mount, and we didn't want to redo the plumbing at this point. This toilet is loud, but it's not bothersome. However, you almost always have to flush twice because there is always shredded toilet paper that comes back up after flushing. Also, the toilet is very industrial looking. It replaced a blue toilet so that might be part of it. I would recommend it other than the flushing issue. I would rather have a toilet that used more water if it meant you only had to flush once. It's expensive to have a flaw like this, and I'm not the only person with this issue after reading the reviews.

Home Depot and the Manufacture would not ship it to my house directly so I had to get it reordered and come pick it up again. The install went smooth, I used the wax ring because I couldnt find the rubber gasket it calls for. Like others said, the flush is a bit loud and startled me first time I flushed it, but that doesn't bother me. I have an issue with my unit in that it will not double flush, after I flush it once I have to wait for about 30min to flush again. American Standard does not help you with any issues they only make the skin of this unit. I have to call EcoFlush and leave a message can not talk to a person. They do not return your emails or phone calls. I would not get this toilet again if I had a choice, cheaper wall toilet selection is limited.
