Was inspired by travel to Europe where dual flush toilets are more common. This works better than any we found there and much better than neighbor's water conserving toilets.. Easy to install and needed no adjustments. Be aware though, inspect the flush mechanism in the tank before taking it home...there were plastic parts that were broken due to rough handling so I had to have it reordered. Ordered it online and picked up at the store...the site said six week delivery time but both times it came within a week.

The toilet of my dreams. No more flushing five times with that water saving toilet of the late nineties. Threw away all my plungers. Well all except one - for major emergencies. This toilet truly saves water with the big flush for those high fiber users. Had the toilet professionally installed and it only took 30 minutes of labor. The unit does not come with seat or install kit (I.e. Wax ring flange bolts). After watching it done, I feel confident I could install with ease. No adjustment needed, water level was spot on. With the flushing buttons on top of the tank, it is awkward to get at when you need the mercy flush. That was the only drawback and not awkward enough for me to not recommend this toilet to my high fiber friends.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by santacruzhomeowner Design flaw
I bought two of these toilets at Home Depot, installed the first one today. The toilet is very nice, but, and it's a big but, the toilet leaks about an ounce of water on every flush, the leak is a design flaw, it is leaking from the top of the tank! Yes, the top of the tank! The water sprays onto the top of the tank and then leaks down the side. I called the # in the instructions and they told me it was a known issue and Standard had a "spray shield", I was given a new 800 # to call to get the part. I had already waited 25 minutes on the first call, and gave up when the second call estimated a 20 minute wait.
What bothers me is this is a known issue, they sold me a toilet that has a design flaw and leaks from the top of the tank, of all things. Apparently the QA at Standard never flushed the toilet? Or they flushed it only with low water pressure? I'm on city water, no special or out of the ordinary conditions. I guess there's the added feature that if you remove the top of the tank the toilet functions as a bidet?
I'll call back tomorrow to try to get the part again, but I'm not a happy camper and wish I went with a cheaper dual flush at this point.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Familyguy Pleased with everything so far.
We ordered this to replace a frequently clogging 3-gal fixture, and 4 weeks out, we are happy with the choice. The toilet arrived fairly quickly, and installation was easy / straightforward, though I did need to run out to buy a wax seal and a longer flexible connector to the water supply.
The tank came pre-assembled with fill and flush valves installed and correctly pre-adjusted; so that it worked great "out of the box".
We were initially just looking for a "WaterSense" (water conserving) model with the highest flush rating, but we also like that it has two flush options; both have worked smoothly and as advertised. The bowl empties quickly and quietly, and the tank refills quickly. What more could we ask?
Only time will tell if the fill and flush valves (which have a very different design than those used in our older toilets) will continue to work or how often they might need adjustment...and how long they'll last before replacement is needed...and how widely available those will then be. But for the moment, we're very satisfied with the product and the transaction.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by DanH Great toilet
+ Low water usage
+ Very effective flushing
+ Attractive design
+ Compact tank design
- Doesn't include toilet seat
- Doesn't include wax ring
We bought an old house and have replaced both toilets with low flow models now. The other one uses a pressurized tank (Flushmate IV system) and is much louder than this one. Both are very effective toilets, but we've been happier with this one. This one cost about ~$70 more (including seat and ring), however.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Robert So Much Better Than Builder Grade!
Installed this in our first floor powder room. Installation was much easier than expected (first time I've done a toilet). Our builder-grade toilet (Gerber, I believe) clogged at least once a month, and it didn't have to be golf balls. It's only me, my wife and our 10-year-old daughter. The plunger was one of the most used tools in the house. After days of research, I settled in on this toilet and matching soft-close seat. Very pleased overall. We haven't had a clog yet, nor do I expect one. The 1.6 gallon flush washes everything away. The 1 gallon flush is a nice water saving option for urine-only breaks.
