Answer:
I measured 29" from front edge of bowl to back edge of tank on mine. I replaced a round-bowl Mansfield toilet from 1984. The footprint is longer, but the bolt holes and outlet line up so that it fit up against the wall just as the old unit did.

Answer:
The rim height is 15" and the seat adds about 1/2 inch. HOWEVER, installation could lead to the seat being a bit higher that 15.5 inches.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Never knew I could love a toilet... But I do. This toilet is just plain pretty and harmonizes perfectly with the transitional style of our guest bathroom. The buttons on top of the lid save that much more room in a fairly tight space, and the flushes are surprisingly quiet. My husband had no trouble installing it all himself. After a lot of research and back-and-forth checking measurements we bought the "KOHLER Ridgewood Elongated Closed Front Toilet Seat in White" to go. It's a perfect, secure fit and looks like it came with the toilet (even though it's a different brand). April 5, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Unit Like the ability and ease of choosing the flush volumn. It comes packaged well in easy to handle pieces. I was also pleased that the surface remains very clean as advertised. This choice was a home run. May 10, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by complex dual flush parts -cant change The water keeps running. Talked to the guy at home depot and he said the toilet needed to be leveled. However, it is 100% level. the parts inside the reservoir is too complex to change since it has dual flushing and dont see any part. Now, I have to uninstalled and bring it back. January 21, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Impressive toilet This thing can flush anything! There is a video online of this toilet flushing golf balls. August 26, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Light duty flush usually good enough! Great toilet, easy to clean, and 8 of 10 usages the 1.0G flush is sufficient to clear the bowl. I won't get into details (we all know what we're talking about) but you only need the 1.6G flush very rarely - at least that was true for us. That being the case the water efficiency was even greater than expected. September 18, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Terrible!!!! We have had our toilet for toilet for less than 6 months... I should have never let my husband install it because it has been nothing but issues. First, it sits a few inches from the wall and pokes out. We had pre-measured but it is still awkward. We paid over $200 and the seat is plastic, uncomortable and cheap. Since he had already put it in, we decided we could live with it... until now. The inside of the bowl is greyish black in areas. This is where the water flows, not where water stays in the bowl. It is like the bowl is discolored in patches (not because it is dirty) and the stains are in the actual vessels of the material. I called the company and they said the previous 5 cleaners that didn't work may be expected, but I should use CLR. Then, if that doesn't work, then I need to drain the toilet and soak it in vinegar and scrub it. The toilet that was there for 25 years before this one looked better than this one that we just got 6 months ago!! I shouldn't have to drain it and soak it in vinegar!! And, I agree that poop sticks every time my kids go in our bathroom- will never buy one again. September 24, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by So Much Better Than Builder Grade! Installed this in our first floor powder room. Installation was much easier than expected (first time I've done a toilet). Our builder-grade toilet (Gerber, I believe) clogged at least once a month, and it didn't have to be golf balls. It's only me, my wife and our 10-year-old daughter. The plunger was one of the most used tools in the house. After days of research, I settled in on this toilet and matching soft-close seat. Very pleased overall. We haven't had a clog yet, nor do I expect one. The 1.6 gallon flush washes everything away. The 1 gallon flush is a nice water saving option for urine-only breaks. May 12, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works better than expected Was inspired by travel to Europe where dual flush toilets are more common. This works better than any we found there and much better than neighbor's water conserving toilets.. Easy to install and needed no adjustments. Be aware though, inspect the flush mechanism in the tank before taking it home...there were plastic parts that were broken due to rough handling so I had to have it reordered. Ordered it online and picked up at the store...the site said six week delivery time but both times it came within a week. July 21, 2015
