I don't see why it can't be placed any place you want to. Provided you have a hole the size the unit fits into.

It arrived in a broken box and few scratches! so not happy with UPS ! but the product itself seems well made. In terms of usage, It is the exact type of product was looking for. The house i moved to had a facet with extendable neck not suitable to use with screw-on tap water filter and didn't want to replace that, so instead i pulled washing detergent dispenser and installed this faucet instead. all i needed was a hose and a spliter on cold water to finish the job. took 15 min in total to finish the job, but hours to figure out what i need and where to buy from! Bought the hose from Walmart ($8.25) and the spliter from Home Depot ( nowhere else had such spliter just for under $6)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fine product - good finish - some installation issues The faucet is exactly as advertised and has excellent quality and finish. The water connection is not a standard sink fitting, but is a 1/2 inch connection like a washing machine. Required a trip to HD to obtain right supply. Would have been good to know ahead. Secondly, the backer gasket and washer (for under the sink) are fairly small. I have a Blanco steel sink and the rubber gasket is only very slightly larger than the cutout in the sink. I have yet to get it mounted so that the faucet does not rock. I have purchased gasket material and a larger washer to expand the surface, but I should not have to do this.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from great looking, but... This is a great looking faucet, but you jhave to choose whether you'd like hot or cold water to be hooked up to it. It cannot accommodate both. We did not find this out until we were ready to install the faucet and were going over the instructions. We had to return it and are looking for a faucet that looks just like it but gives us a hot/cold option whenever we turn it on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is a solid, attractive faucet with a nice arc that keeps water from splashing or spraying outside the bar sink. I can't comment on the ease of installation, because our plumber installed it when we had the kitchen redone, but the faucet itself is very sturdy and works wonderfully. We'd originally had a smaller faucet attached to the water filter under the counter, but the smaller faucet was flimsy and the water shot out past the little bar sink. The Heritage faucet does not have any of these problems. Since we are using the faucet just for drinking water coming from a dedicated line to the water filter, it doesn't matter that the Heritage faucet is only for cold water. I rated the price as "good" only because faucets in general are much more expensive than it seems they need to be. However, the flimsy water filter faucet was about half the price but a complete waste of money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is exactly what we were looking for! We needed to change out a 3-hole bar faucet for a 1-hole faucet. This faucet was the perfect one for us.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from works great very satisfied with this faucet. does exactly what I needed it for. I use it to bypass my water softener for drinking and cooking water. It was easy to install with basic plumbing skills.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Bar Faucet So far so good. Be aware that this is a true bar faucet with only a cold water hook-up, not for hot/cold applications. No leaks, good quality seals and clean installation. Good value for price.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very deceptive in description We ordered the Heritage Single Lever faucet after seeing it with a Home Depot plumbing Associate in the the Special Order catalog. When it arrived we realized that it could not supply BOTH hot and cold water. It has the ability to have only one ....not two....connection. I called and talked to the American Standard rep who was unapologetic. I returned the faucet and went to Lowe's to get what we needed. The description did not give any indication that it would be "one legged".
