Clogged or junk. Call american standard for a replacement part. Also ask if there is a key to remove the center part where the screen might be. My Moen faucet unscrewed to clean..This one does not.

Check the pull-out line below the cabinet. Besure it is not bent or entangled causing water to be choked off.

Mine worked fine the next day. I don't know what would cause that problem unless you had a hard water deposit that blocked it.

Answer:
There could be a kink in the water lines since they're sleeker than the traditional lines used to hook up the faucet. Also, ensure the faucet has is in one mode or the other for the spray, it could be inbetween causing an uneven flow.

There is no water or just when you use the sprayer? Is there some Teflon tape in the screen. Pull the screen and make sure it is clean.

Can this faucet be installed without the base plate?

I like the look of this faucet a lot, but would like it even better if it's possible to install it directly into the countertop (undermount sink, obviously). Thanks in advance for suggestions.

Answer:
Maybe...Even if you could I don't recommend it.I think it needs the base for stability as well as covering additional sink hole cut outs if you have them. Faucet sits on top of the plate. For sure contact American Standard for recommendations.

How do I remove the screen to get the sediment from our water out?

We live in a city where white sediment builds up and the water pressure decreases. I just installed this new faucet, worked fine for about a week, now the water dribbles out. But I'm unsure how to remove the screen at the exit point of the water/sprayer.

Thanks.

See my review about that. All you need is an ordinary paper clip to unscrew the black sprayer part.

I think there might be a key needed to remove the center part which is a cartridge that usually gets clogged with sediment. Call A/S to find out.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Prime Time Good nozzle, but sprayer attachment needs more tension and a recoil line. September 6, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by A nice faucet The faucet was relatively easy to install. My only problems were with the sink cabinet and the upright post in the middle of the doorway making it hard for me to get under the sink to work on it. The connection on the faucet were easy to hook up and it works very nicely. August 17, 2016

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Money down the drain, and that's not the wors part! I bought this faucet a while back, it was okay in the begining. I then started experiencing leaking from the base of the faucet. I didn't even consider it was coming from the faucet at first because it was new. I contacted American Standard. This is the worst part: Their "lifetime warranty" is prety much worthless letters printed on the box. I have never had a more unprofessional experience with a company. It's a shame they use the name "American". Even filed a bbb complaint to which they decided to stop responding. I even bought a replacement cartridge... that wasn't the problem. The leak is due to the actual faucet. Bottom line: Shiny piece of trash. Don't waste your money and don't expect any help from customer service. May 3, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice faucet This is a simple model that looks nice and is quite functional. I especially like the removable spiggot for ease of use. May 17, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Works well, hoping it lasts being all Plastic.... Easy to install, works well. Not metal, all plastic.....so, a little pricey for what you get. May 31, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Stop, hit the back button and buy a Delta. This faucet is well built, so I can't say it is horrible. Here are the issues. 1. It does not take standard faucet hoses. 90% of faucets are 3/8 at the valve and 1/2 at the faucet. This has short 3/8 hoses, so unless your valves are within 12 inches of the faucet you will need the extension hoses, I needed 4 at $8 each they are 12 inches in length. I already had faucet in so I went back and bought the extensions, which were not easy to find. 2. This will no work with an on demand water heater, it retards water flow. There is great flow at the faucet, but not enough to ignite the water heater. 3. Often when you install a faucet you get sediment in the strainer that needs to be cleared. You need a special tool to remove the strainer. They will send this to you free, if you want to wait a week. I just destroyed the strainer so it would work with my water heater. I have always bought Delta for my rentals and made the mistake of buying this as it was $10 less, but ended up costing most in parts and time. So in the words of Money Python,.....Run Away.
