I want to attach a Whedon double-swivel sprayer/aerator to a faucet (am replacing a leaky kitchen sink faucet, love my current add-on swivel sprayer). Are there screw threads inside the tip of this faucet to accommodate it, or can the aerator be removed to allow it to be screwed in? (the supplied aerator shows as a separate part on the Am Stand parts list for this faucet, which should mean that it is removable if necessary). Thank you.

What material is the pullout faucet? Would it be plastic? If so, is there a similar kitchen faucet with a metal hand held sprayer?

Rated 4.6 out of 5 by 12 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love my American Standard Faucet Just installed but so far I love it. Chose this faucet based on reviews. There were faucets that were more stylish- but the reviews weren't so good. This was installed in one hour. Had to get some additional flex hose- one provided not quite long enough -but no big deal. I love the touch button on top to change to spray and of course the pull out feature. Returns to normal flow when water is turned off. Looks pretty good also March 25, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by The American Standard? Very nice stainless steel finish, completely functional. Easy operation to switch spray on and off. Wife doesn't like that it automatically turns the spray head to regular stream when you turn off the water, but I think it is a big plus. Our previous unit had to be manually switched which drove me nuts. Unit is attractive and the handle is contoured more then it looks to provide a nice grip. Works exactly like you'd expect. The only disappointment is it doesn't feel particularly substaintial for what I expected at this price. Although that said there are much pricer fixtures. Water control valve has a very nice solid feel, but the pull out hose doesn't operate particularly smoothly and the faucet rotates with little resistance or percision. I did install it for a single hole without the option deck plate which gives a nice clean look. You won't be disappointed but probably not blown away either. April 16, 2009
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Overall we like the Lakeland pull-out faucet This faucet looks very nice, installation was simple and it works great. The only adjustment we had to make is that the pull-out would not retract because the weight on the hose was not heavy enough. We just used the weight from the faucet that we replaced. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Sturdy and Dependable Purchased and installed a new kitchen faucet. Installs easily without any special tools. It worked well, was handy in the kitchen sink and held up well under daily use. The one drawback was the corrugated extension hose which did not extend or retract easily due to the ringed construction. A smooth hose finish would be an improvement to this faucet. The other annoying drawback is that it does not stay in the spray made and often reverts back to a stream all by itself. August 22, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellence! Never thought much about my kitchen faucet before getting this one and now I can honestly say I love my kitchen faucet! My husband installed it and said it was very easy to do. July 31, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by In love with my faucet. This faucet is one of the best I have seen, it has lasted longer than any other I have ever used. It is the faucet professionals use, I am a plumbing contractor and it is what is in my home. I recommend all American Standard products and use them myself. May 12, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love This Faucet Having used pull-out faucets for 10 years in my own kitchen, I will never go back to a separate spray model. This faucet is a fine example of this faucet type. April 18, 2012
