With the tub and heater combination, how is the temperature controlled? If no control, what temperature is it controlled to? Can you turn the heater off? Do you offer a digital control?
Asked by: BobTheBuilder
The heater is operated off an internal pressure switch and it is made to maintain the temperature of the water in the tub. It does have a high limit of 104 degrees.

Since this tub has air and water jets, how many air jets does it have and does that have a separate control?
Asked by: Kfox
The Cadet whirlpool tub is not a combination tub although when the jets are running air is siphoned into the jet action to give it a more robust action. There are 8 jets total.

Are the air jets and the water jets separate and how often would we need to clean to avoid mold in the water lines?
Asked by: Kfox
American Standard recommends purging the system once a month by filling the tub and adding 1/4 cup bleach and a couple tablespoons of a dish-washing machine detergent. Run this through the system then drain and rinse.

Customer Reviews

Lifetime Cadet EverClean 6 ft. x 36 in. Whirlpool Tub with Reversible Drain in White is rated 3.5 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Drain installation is a problem The bottom of the drain was milled at a slight angle. This means the drain kit, which includes the pipe for the overflow and drain and a 90 degree Y, has to be cut and re-coupled at a slight angle because the drain pipe (in order to have good contact with the drain) has to be at an angle and, therefore, it won't meet the overflow pipe at 90 degrees. Since it is milled at a slight upward angle, that also means there will always be water sitting in the drain and be a little slower draining. I have not completed installation but I am not aware of any other issues. But this alone is quite frustrating.
